I agree with you, joke sarcasm or whatever, that is so odd. On a lighter note I would love to know what kind of dog Roc ordered.

Does Ru Paul think that if he mentions/references Mariah enough times on the show, she'll appear as a judge? One can dream.

Christmas tickets (82,708)

After missing 3 presale ticket attempts and 5 hours on general sale I finally got 2 decent tickets 3 rows from the front and a great price too. Very happy. I'm surprising my twin sister as she's never seen Mariah and is a huge fan. I told her it had sold out. She is gonna be so happy when I pick her up and surprise her. We are so close to Mimi. Hope all got tickets who wanted them.

Statute of limitations (82,707)
by Ronnie from California
| |
|
|
I just came across a video where the commentators made an interesting point. They were commenting on The Guardian interview, and mentioned that there have been many whispers about MC and Tommy Mottola. What I found interesting is that they claimed that the statute of limitations on the divorce are up. While I would only take this with a grain of salt since much of their information seemed misconstrued, it's still an interesting point to explore. I have done some digging, but the statute of limitations is the time period in which legal action could be taken in regards to a manner. If their restriction was 20 years, this would be the first hear she could speak about the details with Mottola's hands tied. He has already tried to apoligize, saying that their relationship was "inapporopite" but maybe there is something darker going on. Keep in mind, that apology is before the Me Too movement, so the topic was more taboo. There is a possibility that this album may be very insightful about the crazy things that go down in Hollywood. She would know more than anyone since she was married to the elite.

No one really knows who she is yet, the actress and production haven't revealed it, so nothing is accurate till we watch the chapter, but she really looks more like Mariah than the other girls

If we could not add one more track to the already perfect album, then it must well be a strong candidate to replace Long Ago, they do sound alike and talk about fading love. But then, I'm just grateful Slipping Away got released (B side still counts), otherwise it could just end up nowhere. I love most of the MC catalogues, only a handful I can stand on repeat 24/7 (for real, day and night non-stop, I did it), I can proudly say this is one of them. Now I wonder if any of you have a song that you can handle a 24-hour loop. Emotions anyone?

From what I saw "skinny legend" is just an joke circulating among fans who are being sarcastic about weight obsessing media, yet true fans love her no matter how she looks or weighs. If you are interested in how it started, try Google. And I'm happy to see her back in confidence and that's certainly what makes the interview truly enjoyable and on point, I couldn't help with my grin while watching it, I agree it's one of the best in recent years.

Apart from Mariah's site and Live Nation, any other sites where you can buy a ticket from? I haven't found the European concerts neither on ticketmaster nor on twickets.

I hate seeing that skinny legend mess. It annoys my soul. That should not be everyone's main priority. She may sound like crap in Vegas and on tour, but at least she's skinny. Lol I do agree with hoping the weight loss will help with her confidence as far as performing though.

Skinny legend (82,700)

First off, Mariah's latest TV appearance on Kimmel was great. She was lucid, engaging, likable and best of all, fun, with just the right hint of diva. Yay to that. Now if you've been lurking in comments sections of various media sharing sites, blogs, as well as on official and fan-made Mariah-related accounts on social media, you'd probably find it just as amusing as I do to see sooooooo many comments (especially as of the past 3-4 months) along the lines of "skinny legend", "she's so thin I can't even see her", "skinny bish out to snatch y'alls faves wigs", etc. I mean a lot of it is so weight-centered, it's insane. This shows just how much people still appreciate physical appearance over anything. I ain't mad - Mariah is looking her best since the AI days, but I honestly don't believe she looks "skinny". To me that word is reserved for 90s Mariah and E=MC2-era Mariah. Now, she looks healthy and that's the best description. I don't know if her weight loss is gonna directly impact her singing in some way, but I feel like the newfound confidence in her current figure can help uplift her self-esteem and at least help her perform better than the stoic, passive, lazy "performer" we have gotten used to see for most of the 2010s. I hope she keeps this image up because she still has a lot of irreparable damage to recover from.

I agree. Mariah seemed herself with Kimmel. She seemed "all there" if ya'all know what I mean. Alive. Healthy. Funny. So many good reasons why I'm so happy Stella is in the rear view mirror. This was her best interview in a long time. She seemed grounded.

I'm loving her new appearances and promos. I enjoyed the short "Never Have I Ever" segment with Harper's Bazaar. The Kimmel interview went smoothly, She stayed on point, didn't go off tangent and keep blabbering about irrelevant things. This is the Mariah we need right now. I also enjoyed the short teaser for her upcoming European leg of the Christmas tour. Sorry if this has already been shared. It's nice, festive and cute. She looks gorgeous.

Luis Miguel La Serie (82,695)
by Pau from Mexico

Hello lambily. I just realized I've been so excited watching on Netflix Luis Miguel's series and I totally forgot to comment in here about it. This post is for everybody that would like a quick catch up: 1. Straight to the point: No, Mariah is not mentioned in this first season. Why? The series started at 1987 when Luis Miguel was 17 years old and was very famous and was about to become the super start that he is. Every episode we go back in time to 1980-1982 to understand how everything started. 2. Camila Sodi (Thalia's niece) is going to play the part of Isabella Camil a Mexican actress and socialité. They had a relationship for seven years. Why Camila? It has nothing to do with Thalia, it is not a shade. Camila Sodi attracts the media so it is good for the series, she is good actress and she is very pretty. 3. Mariah could possibly be mentioned in the second series. It is not a sure thing. There's no info about it because they haven't done it yet. It all depends on Luis Miguel in how much he is willing to share about it. In Mexico it's been said that Mariah went public about her bipolar disorder because of the series. Guys, I strongly recommend you to watch Luis Miguel La Serie. It is just amazing and very well done. Every week in Mexico twitter and facebook go crazy after they release a new episode. Luis Miguel has been breaking some records on Spotify and his career is having a come back after all the shitty situations he had in the last years. I wish Mariah would do a series like this. It humanizes the person and it allows anyone to sympathize and understand why they are how they are. Luis Miguel's life has been definitely very dark and as a Lamb I know he and Mariah found a lot of things in common.

The tickets are officially going for sale tomorrow, right? However, on certain sites (like the controversial Viagogo) they are already up for sale, which I find weird and the prices are indeed not the best.

That would explain his hair in that teaser clip and the I'm her friend comment. I wish I could watch the series but Telemundo is not free with Dish Network. Ugh, I used to be able to watch it free via regular tv a long time ago. I know Netflix has it, but not for U.S. subscribers. Anyone that gets to the Mariah part eventually I think probably in future seasons, please post a link to footage if you can.

Anyone else having trouble getting any good seats for her December shows? First time in 13 years that I've ever had an issue. Anyone else? Is this a good sign? Mariah popular in UK? Or is it greedy people buying and selling at a higher price?

Mariah looked like a nice snack. Also she was alert, she answered the questions without going on an unnecessary tangent. I also appreciated that she was funny and witty without the diva attitude and that is something that she will have to keep in check if she wants the masses to embrace her again. Last but certainly not least as far as the album she is still in the early stages of writing and recording so nothing is sticking just yet. But overall one of her best tv appearances in a very long time.

I have read that the actress is playing Stephanie Salas, the mother of LM's oldest daughter, that he only recently, officially acknowledged is his. The intentional intrigue is tacky though.

What on earth is Mariah (most likely in person) doing with her songs on Spotify? I played the song "Butterfly" yesterday and what played was an unedited acapella of of only her. (It's the same acapella that's been around on YouTube/Soundcloud for years.)

Love, life and Mariah (82,686)
by Anthony Basco from Cardiff, Wales

Hey guys, just wanted to share something wit my MC lambily. I'm currently in Miami, FL and it is amazing here. To all the American lambs, I hope I'd get the same amazing treatment I get from your fellow countrymen here because wow, everyone has been amazing to me. I went on a date tonight with an absolutely beautiful gentleman called Nick. And when I say gentleman, I mean gentleman. I was treated like royalty. We kissed in the car when he dropped me off (no first date nudey here haha) and he knows I'm from the UK and he from Jamaica but lives in Miami, but you know what? I've uppped sticks and moved before, that's just the kinda guy I am. I'm now outside having a gin and a cigarette, and listening to our girl. I, of course, had to show him my pic of meeting MC, and tell him how much she has positively affected my life. I'm hearing songs of hers as if it's the first time. Of course, had to give Slipping Away a listen as it's the hot topic and I'm on board. Incredible song. I have a huge thing for Lana Del Rey but Mariah will always be number one to my ears. Anyway, perhaps off topic, but wanted to share the love. Maybe one day I'll be a resident here in Miami and maybe not, but a guy has a right to dream, right?
