Article: Mariah and Bryan have affectionate date night (82,635) by Betty from Canada
Did I miss something or are they like a year behind on the news?

Latin explosion (82,634) by 90sMariah from SG
Remember back in the later part of the 90s when Latin music became really popular and there were these hilarious rumours that Mariah will be changing her last name to Nuņez? Lol. That would have been the gag of the century, and not in a good way.

Post Malone and Vegas (82,633) by Bobby A from United States
What MC needs right now is a Post Malone collaboration. I know Post Malone, really? But it would be a unlikely collaboration out of no where. He is hot right now when everybody wanted to write him off 3 years ago. Frank Dukes should produce the collaboration over a trap beat where MC can get everything out in the open that has happen in the past 3 years in a fun upbeat victorious song. Make the public connect with her and like her again via Post Malone rapping in his scratchy voice. Radio would go crazy for it. Kind of sad to hear the Vegas ticket sales are low. People just don't want to go hear an artist sing the same old songs over and over again. Same songs different residency name. New music drives ticket sales. Look at Justin Timberlake selling out 2-3 shows in a city each month with a new album supporting the tour. Put an album out first and then announce your tour. That's just how it should be done. She just ain't selling 5 million CDs anymore. I hope her team is putting the pressure on her to get something out within the next two weeks. I tweeted MC about a Post Malone collaboration. Jimmy Kimmel is going to be really interesting Wednesday.

Mariah promotion Christmas, no new album (82,632) by T from USA
I have no problem with Mariah taping an interview for upcoming Euro Christmas concerts but why would they air it in June? Mixed brand messaging especially if she wants to sell her Vegas shows. Can't they tape the interview (because she looks hot) but save it for October? This may be the first blunder of ROC Nation if you ask me. Also there is no album coming this year as the People magazine or EW eluded to. And remember, just because Mariah is recording new music doesn't ever mean it will see the light of day. Prince and MJ were constantly working on music that we never heard.

I hope it's the Mariah that's funny when appropriate and serious when needed. I mostly want funny though. Divariah needs to stay at home with Banaka Tanaka.

X-Girlfriend (82,629) by Gee from U.S.A. (New York City)
MusicFan J you made a mistake when you mentioned the song X-Girlfriend. It was actually produced by Kevin She'kspere Briggs along with MC. He was also responsible for producing No scrubs for TLC, as well as multiple songs for DC for their sophomore effort The Writings on the Wall. Another fun fact is that Kandi Burress of Xscape and The Real Housewives of Atlanta also wrote No scrubs along with Tameka Tiny Harris. She also co-wrote X-Girlfriend with MC as well as the various songs for DC.

Jimmy Kimmel (82,628) by 90sMariah from SG
I'm a little excited over this, because I wonder which version of Mariah will be showing up for the interview: will it be the docile, monotone, bored out of her mind Mariah, or will it be the camp, spiralling and babbling Mariah, or will it be the early 90s coherent Mariah? I can't wait.

What has Mariah done for you? (82,626) by Manuel from Germany
Hey lambs. I would like to know: in what ways has Mariah impacted upon your lives? To me personally, she means the world. She was there for me during the most trying situations of my life, she helped me believe in myself, she helped my in my coming out, she taught me the art of fabulousness, she taught me how to look inside, she inspired me to sing, her voice seems more familiar than that of my own mother, she taught me about humility. I don't think I would still be here without her. Not a day goes by when I don't listen to her music and I never seem to get tired of it either. So, what about you?

Bliss is an outstanding song. I have two kids because of that song. Bliss is track 3 on the making love playlist. If it was track one, we would never make it to track 2.

#1s (82,624) by Jeff from USA
My favorite #1: My All - This song only gets better with time. Mariah seems to genuinely enjoy performing it these days, and it's still beautiful.
Least favorite #1: Hero - I know. I know. This is a song that, foe many, is highly inspirational, but for me, I just don't enjoy it.

Yes for me it would be For The Record too. I would also include if I could Betcha Gon Know and Bliss.

Re: #1's (82,608) (82,622) by Merr Hasenan from Malaysia
Favourite: I Don't Wanna Cry - I like the video, the best from the first four number ones. I was 15 when the debut came out. Back then, I was into sad ballad.
Least favourite: Touch My Body - When it was announced, I was hoping for the "Fantasy" sound. A little dissapointed at first and I never thought it will hit the top spot.

I'd love to hear Mariah's take on Again. He's so sexy in that video.

Re: #1's (82,613) (82,620) by B from USA
My favorite is Fantasy because it was my introduction to Mariah and her music. My least favorite is TGIFY however I love the remix featuring Joe and Nas (which is the version people know and love) and how she rearranged it for her Vegas residency.

For The Record because I'd also be able to discuss the songs she references in the lyrics.

I also like Infinity and I was in the audience singing along as Ratner filmed the performance scenes for the video so my opinion may be biased by that fact alone, lol.

Jimmy Kimmel (82,617) by Bobby A from United States
Mariah will be on Jimmy Kimmel on June 6th to make an important announcement about The Butterfly Returns and more. I am hoping she is going to announce the first single and album title. This would be the perfect time to do it. No more missteps in this era.

Re: Re: #1's (82,608) (82,613) (82,615) by MusicfanJ from Germany
Favorite: Vision of Love, Hero and Fantasy. VOL is still unrivalled, she was showing all her talent and I often get goosebumbs just by the intro, Hero is a Mariah anthem and Fantasy was the song which made me a fan.
Least Favorite: Touch My Body. I was surprised that it went to number one when it was released. The video is really funny, but the lyrics are cheesy indeed.

Re: One song discussion with MC (82,611) (82,614) by MusicfanJ from Germany
I also like "Bliss". Such a relaxed, romantic sexy tune. "X-Girlfriend" is ok. It sounds dated, but in 99 it had this popular sound like most the songs had from Destiny's Child. The Rodney Jerkins sound, who produced it. Infinity is the only song from Mariah which I haven't on any playlist, cd or download. Even "I don't" grew on me and gets played from time to time.

Re: One song discussion with MC (82,603) (82,612) by Licia from USA
Yes to the Loverboy scandal. I think she still should have put out the original version despite all that happened. She could have slid that one in with all those remixes. She had every right to be spiteful. Lol. Although I enjoy what she eventually came up with the Candy sample, I just know the original was awesome.

Re: One song discussion with MC (82,607) (82,611) by Licia from USA
I actually prefer Bliss (I love this one) and X-Girlfriend. Lol. I just don't find Infinity witty, funny, or a good song. The song sounded real juvenile if you compare it to Clown or even Obsessed. It definitely didn't belong on an album full of great songs in my opinion. All I'm going to say about that video is that the little cartoon video she put out was better than the actual video. I did however enjoy the scene where Tyson Beckford was at her door. I replayed that part a few times. Lol.
