I actually prefer Bliss (I love this one) and X-Girlfriend. Lol. I just don't find Infinity witty, funny, or a good song. The song sounded real juvenile if you compare it to Clown or even Obsessed. It definitely didn't belong on an album full of great songs in my opinion. All I'm going to say about that video is that the little cartoon video she put out was better than the actual video. I did however enjoy the scene where Tyson Beckford was at her door. I replayed that part a few times. Lol.

#1's (82,608)
by Tijl from Belgium

I would like to know. What is your most cherished #1 song? Which one do you like the least and why? My pick: Favorite: "Honey" because it is such an iconic song that remains fresh. I love the samples she used and I adore the video. Least favorite: "Touch My Body", although I truly enjoyed this song at its initial release, over the years I started to resent it. I feel it hasn't aged well and the lyrics are too cheesy for words.

I don't get all the hate towards "Infinity". It is an okay song, not fantastic but MC has much worse stuff in her catalogue like "X-Girlfriend" or "Bliss" for instance. Personally I find the shade and wittiness of Infinity rather amusing. Mariah looks great although the video is a rather uninspired. I do love the footage from her Colosseum performance. All in all: B-

Right To Dream. Why write a depressingly sad song about hope? Why doesn't she do more unplugged songs that's within her range that doesn't require studio tricks? Why doesn't she do more songs like this that she wouldn't have to lip? Why doesn't she learn the guitar and/or piano so she's not lumped into the songwriting category of "yeah you write" along with Janet, Madonna and Beyonce?

I would ask her about the original version of "Loverboy". Aside from the grief and backstabbing of what was happening in the C-suite, what did she like or dislike about the two different versions.

Mine would be Crapfinity. I don't need to know who it's about because we already know the answer and honestly don't care who any of her songs are about. I would want to know who told her it was a good idea to release that song and why put that song with her super fabulous number ones?

Luckily everyone in the world except America got it as the closing track to the album. Such a wonderfully haunting finish to the album.

Probable one of her hip-hop oriented songs like the underrated "Underneath the Stars Remix", "The Roof" or "Irresistible (West Side Connection)". Also, one of my favs "Everything Fades Away" which I'm upset didn't make it as an main album track on Music Box.

Great topic. My first thought was Thirsty so I can say simply "Nick or Damizza", but then I realised that would be a waste of time as I know it's about Damizza. I think instead I would choose one of her more ambiguous songs. Maybe Vanishing. I always thought it was about memories of her father, so I would love to know who she was singing about.

Thirsty. I am still trying to figure out who the song is about. I would ask her who was her inspiration behind Thirsty.

Languishing. Or I Wish You Well. Is it "This goes out to you, and you, and you know who you are" or just "goes out to you"? How many people is that song about? But I would rather need an album for a discussion, not just a single song.

Just curious, Lambily. If you had the opportunity to speak with Mariah to ask her about one of her songs, which song would it be? For me, I would love to discuss "Close My Eyes". I know she has spoken publicly about it, but I would be really happy to hear it from her directly. What do y'all think?

Super sexy MC (82,592)
by Bobby A from United States

If MC loses any more weight, she is going look like she did when Touch My Body premiered. She is looking so sexy and beautiful right now. I am even motivated to drop a few pounds for the summer. Her video for the first single is going to be hot. She is going flaunt her body all over the video. You know she is feeling super confident right now. Her vocals should sound really good too. I feel a new single is coming towards the end of June so she can sing it during the residency. There sure isn't a song of summer contender right now. No More Tears Left To Cry - maybe so or not. It would be grand if MC held the song of summer title for 2018. Shut those naysayers down.

Hmm and today a woman from South-Korea told me the Buddhists say: if you have problems, you will be rescued. Nice isn't it? And Yoda says: Patience you must have. But to talk about the original subject, I do think Mariah has spent a lot to different organizations. In the past somebody posted a list on this board with all the known organizations she was connected to. A long list. And we don't know what she does or has privately. If every rich person would spend something it would help a lot of course. Mariah has also helped so many people just with her beautiful music. And to "feed" the soul is important too.

Lenny (82,589)

After G. Michael passed away, my next dream collaboration for MC is Lenny Kravitz. Nothing commercial, just two different artists creating great track. I was listening to his later albums recently (Strut, Love Revolution and Baptism). Live collaboration would be great as well.
