Re: Again, completely unrelated to MC but (68,155) (68,173) by Marissa from USA
Thank you for the encouragement. I'm just choosing to focus on how extremely proud I am of my state of California for electing the state's first Black senator in history. Weed (although I don't smoke it) was also legalized. Go us. The west coast needs to secede from the rest of the US because we're just that amazing lol. I have such mixed feelings about this election. On one hand, of course I didn't want him to win. On the other hand, the fact that he won at all is one hell of an underdog comeback story. I told everyone I knew to stop relaxing and taking for granted that HC was going to win just because she was more experienced. That was the whole reason she lost. People wanted emotion over reason for once. They were tired of lifelong politicians and the establishment. It was the US's Brexit. I am interested to see what he will do and hope that he brings jobs back to America. I just wish the political parties weren't a mashup of both social and fiscal ideas, because there are a lot of fiscally conservative ideals that I could get behind, like not paying for someone's welfare for 25 years if they never even attempt to get a job. Social conservativism I just can't get with. I don't agree with bullying people into Christianity through laws. If people don't do it willingly, what good is it? It totally disrespects the separation between church and state, yet the Republican party is allegedly the most Constitutional, but that is the part of the Constitution that is ignored the most. Maybe this was the kick in the ass that the Democrats need to stop taking things for granted and for some of the delusional millenials (no shade) to stop casting "protest" votes for 3rd parties that will never win. Whatever happens, it will be interesting. Brace yourselves.

Adele's style (68,172) by Malcolm from Asia
Mariah will look good if she tries this. Give us a "hashtag pow" fashion "moment", try something new with your hair and please wear something that fits with your body and not the unflattering ones. I know I'm reaching for the stars here, but heck who knows lol. I always tag Stella and Kris so that maybe they can realize that 70% of her outfits (and sometimes her hairstyle) are beyond "yikes". And yes Mimi L. that pink ensemble from the concert is just like paying homage for Nicki I can't. Are they planning to release a "pink version" of Up Out My Face? Lol.

Patti Labelle (68,170) by Giovanni from USA
Singing with Patti Labelle is like working without a job. You can't do it. No one other than Yolanda Adams can hold her own with the greatest female singer and vocalist of all time. Mariah learned the hard way with the "Got to be real" performance in '98. You cannot out do a dramatic soprano. Patti although not as successful as Mariah still remains a legend and icon. I'm so grateful she's still here with us.

Haha I seriously want to know what goes through Mariah's mind when she wears these. Does she really think "Damn MC, you look hot tamale?"

Re: Donald trumps Hillary (68,163) (68,164) by Licia from USA
Yeah the US seems to like to one up everybody when it comes to bad decisions. This is by far the biggest and dumbest decision ever. Hopefully the next four years will fly by.

My deepest sympathies. Looks like the UK aren't the only ones who make terrible decisions based predominantly on prejudice and fear.

Thanks for those pics Mimi L. I didn't got to see any on IG or FB because they are spammed with the horrid news about Trump's victory. I won't comment on her outfit of choice which all singers seem to be making currently but I will say the color is scary and cheap looking.

Re: Mexico ensembles (68,151) (68,161) by Licia from USA
I like the mini dress and the white dress. I know what moment in 2005 you are talking about for that white dress. It was a photo shoot in a magazine, but I can't recall which one. The rest of the ensembles are blah. Especially that first one. Instead of Titsy the Pornstar she looks like Titsy the Pepto bismal super hero Pornstar.

The Music Box tour did not come to Europe, but the Daydream tour, the Rainbow tour and the Charmbracelet tour did.

I think you'll find the Sweet Sweet Fantasy Tour did not in fact began in England but actually started in Scotland. Just saying. Also I'm pretty sure the Music Box Tour and the Rainbow Tour came to Europe. This is not Mariah's second tour here. Who wrote this crap?

Re: She doesn't vote? (68,150) (68,156) by RibbonB from USA
I am sure she votes. I personally voted weeks ago, by mail. Mariah is a world travelor, so I am positive she is an absentee voter, or perm vote by mail one. I am a permanent by mail voter. I don't have to step foot into a voter booth on election day. More people should do that, save time. There is an issue of ballots getting "lost" though. Lol.

I hope everyone of you, especialy those living in the USA (even more if you're part of the LGBTQ+ community and/or a person of color) can stay hopeful and optimistic after the Trump win to the White House. The bigotry and racism will not tear you guys down.

Re: No new Mariah (68,144) (68,153) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter
Exactly what I said few days back that "Glitter" can be excused because it was still, what I'd like to call, a "respectable breakdown". This one is just like she is going out of her way to see how much she can do before her "legend status" and completely tarnished. I used to laugh at Madonna doing these and point at how MC never will resort to these, little did I know. Never in her life has her image been this bad, her character so tainted and her private life so public. If this Packer incident turns out to be a publicity stunt, MC should really revisit her interview throwing shade at Kim's 72 day marriage, and rethink her opinions.

Mexico ensembles (68,151) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter
Mariah here is definitely paying homage to Nicki's VMAs ensemble. The thigh high boots, the latex bodysuit with the belt. Can nobody, can nobody tell me nothing else. Ok so this dress goes from a gown moment to a mini dress moment to a lo and behold, no prizes for guessing, a bodysuit moment. My favorite is the mini dress moment, just in case you all are wondering. A compilation of some of pictures of the red dress. Another orange/red gown moment. She looks so 2005 in this one. I can't remember which dress this reminds me of. Lastly, nightie/lingerie moment.

Correct me if I'm wrong, so Mariah doesn't vote? But instead chose to lip sync the entire I Still Believe performance in Mexico? .
