Alas, there are seemingly a lot of dubious truths surrounding this song on Mariah's part. I have listened again to Kanye's version - the lyrics and arrangements are the same. A few years ago Mariah said that she liked Kanye's version of My All and would like to perform it. Then for few years there was nothing. Now it is part of her Christmas show. I like his version, but I like the original more. The new version is called "Christmas Gospel Version".
