In fact #Beautiful could easily have been her next top 10 hit but after the accident she dropped all promo. Same with the rest of the roll out. Her delaying it due to the title being leaked, then releasing random singles with no proper treatments and no promo. People were still interested in her during this era, she just vanished. Las Vegas (106,152) by Shezz from Pk She fooled me first with the low resolution videos coming out. I thought wow she really did work hard for these shows and got her voice back. To be fair, it is her current voice - I think it's clear now she's not getting her confidence back to sing them live. Her voice sounds good though. She looked great, not as stiff as her first Christmas shows, she'll only get better on stage. I didn't see enough clips to see how much she was singing live but her 2 mostly live staples VOL and Hero seemed majorly lipped. Still hoping for MC16 sometime soon. (Saturday 13 April 2024; 13:59)

The discussion of what is pre-recorded or lipped is tired and old - she is singing live what she can throughout the show and it sounds great. We just have to adjust to the new singing style that she is adopting and it's working from what I can see and hear. As for deep cuts, plenty of deep cuts from what I've seen. She could have done a medley of One and Only and So Lonely. I saw she started with VOL. That's odd since the show is supposed to be a celebration of TEOM and she had ILT, SIO as perfect openers. Was there a reason behind her doing older songs for a majority of the show and then TEOM later? If so why no songs from albums after TEOM? All things aside she looks stunning, the gold dress she wears at the beginning of the TEOM set was beautiful and very TEOM coded. What I loved about some of the videos are that she was walking around by herself and even did a mini almost sprint. All these visually creates a more engaging show rather than using dancers as crutches. So she'll only get better. I hope with each show she also stops relying too much on the teleprompter but as always her shows getting better with more dates. The stage looks nice and moody very TEOM coded. They are already sold out of the Cowboy Carter vinyl. Sales clerks are discussing different track variations between what was sold on her website compared to the physical release. Customers are calling and asking if the Cowboy Carter vinyl is still in stock. I wish the hype right now about a Beyonce release was MC. I really feel MC underestimates how the public would receive MC16. Lambs and other non fans are hungry for new Mariah Carey music. Mimi residency (106,163) by Terna from Nigeria So far, the clips I have seen on social media, IG especially, some accounts were even uploading in real time, I am impressed in the production value and the whole esthetic of the show very high value, worthy of an album and era that literally saved this woman and moved her from icon to legendary status. Vocally, it is what it is. I feel like some songs (most of the songs if not all) have been lowered in key to fit her current voice and have her singing in her lower mix without stressing too much and doing much vocally, they sound good but not as impactful as their original keys, being a soprano it almost sounds like she's singing "too low" if that makes sense. I think Mariah has finally gotten help professionally in terms of a speech therapist and maybe even vocal coach. Her rendition of "Vision of Love" had her holding the "be" at the end of the song like on the record instead of shifting the vowel sound to an "eh" as she has done so many times in the past.
