Mariah's version (103,091) by Bobby A from United States
Taylor Swift just recently released Speak Now Taylor's Version. She is definitely a business woman. I wish MC would re-record more of her most famous songs and her favorites that didn't get much love on the radio or albums. She could do it with the right producer.

It's a nice article. I really loved the David Morales remixes.

Article: How Mariah's "Dreamlover" changed dance remixes (103,089) by Bill from the UK
"But Mariah, she loved and cared about club land. She cared about our culture. I have so many different versions of 'Dreamlover' that nobody's ever heard."

(Foams at the mouth.)

Happy 30th anniversary to Dreamlover (103,088) by Bobby A from United States
Was it groundbreaking because of the iconic percussion intro and the almost 1 minute and half dance beat before MC starts singing? Who else was doing what he was doing back in the early 90s? David Morales started the industry to giving club remixes a specific name instead of just calling them the extended version like they were doing in the late 80s.

Yes Dreamlover is an amazing track. I love the whole vibe of it. And the Def Club Mix is on fire definitely her best dance remix

Rolling Stone has a really good article concerning the David Morales remix and how groundbreaking it was at the time. I still love that remix.

Charmbracelet tour (103,085) by Jamie from UK
Just watching the Charmbracelet tour, I was lucky enough to go to this twice. I remember how great her voice was and watching it back now it's amazing how relaxed she is, considering it wasn't long after the breakdown she has more confidence there than I think she does now, her voice was in good shape and she appeared relaxed and in control. Maybe she was compliant with her meds then having been newly diagnosed who knows but hopefully she can get back to this.

Happy 30th anniversary to Dreamlover (103,084) by MC1989 from Spain
Though I always liked the song, and the stunningly beautiful young and carefree Curlyriah in the video, it was never one of my favourite tracks, but It sure grew on me over the years. I love the sample from The Emotions' Blind Alley, combined with Mariah's voice at her peak, and the single cover which I still have and still is one of my favourite pictures from her. The Def Club Mix was and still is one of her best remixes in my opinion. I remember hearing the song in the radio here in Spain even until the early 00's.

RIP Sinéad O'Connor (103,082) by Randy from USA
The very first tape I bought that wasn't r&b or pop. Well, I didn't buy it, Columbia House gave it to me along with 9 others for 1¢. The point is it was my beginning into white singer/songwriters I would've never known about because I lived in an urban monolith. I bought it for Nothing Compares 2U but in actuality my favorite song from 'I Do Not Want What I Haven't Got' is "This Is The Last Day of Our Acquaintance". If not for her, I wouldn't have paid any attention to Jewel, Paula Cole or Sarah McLachlan.

I didn't even realize about the "RIP" from your post. I'm here ready to start listening to "Universal Mother" when the news of her dead just came on TV. Sinéad O'Connor and Dolores O'Riordan had very tormented lives, but their artistry was just unique and great. May she rest in peace.

I love Sinéad O'Connor. Her song Jealous is simply beautiful. I'll definitely listen to Universal Mother. Thanks for recommending it.

RIP Sinéad O'Connor (103,078) by MC1989 from Spain
One of the greatest voices ever. One of my biggest musical references. I highly recommend her album Universal Mother, it's pure perfection from start to finish. And I also recommend her book from 2021, Rememberings. With Mariah's memoir, one of the best autobiographies I've read in the recent years.

Summer songs (103,077) by JC from USA
Living in Dallas, I spend my summers in the pool. Here are my favorites to play that others love. No ballads, just an uptempo Mariah medley that folks, even those who don’t stan MC, still gravitate to:

- Big energy (remix)
- Honey
- Obsessed
- Loving you long time
- Touch my body (Seamus Haji remix)
- Shake it off
- We belong together (remix)

Summer Songs (103,076) by Randy from USA
The summer songs by MC I play are typically not ballads. Loverboy (remix), Honey (Bad Boy remix), Fantasy (with ODB and the pop hook Stacey knows what I'm talking about lol), Fourth of July, Underneath the Stars, It's Like That, Circles, Obsessed with Gucci mane, Up Out My Face with Nikki, More Than Just Friends, You Don't Know What to Do and GTFO. I tend to listen to Mariah's ballads when I'm emotional which is 99.9 repeating % of the time. But when I want to have fun during the summer those are the jams I play/request.

Are we all forgetting about "Honey"? A song about semen. "It's like honey when it washes over me." She's actually never denied the sexual innuendos in that song when brought up.

Paula Cole: Not the Amazon running between her thighs lol and I can't do You're Making Me High. I might start singing in the middle of the act. Back to MC. I'm tryna think of another sexy, nasty song and I can't think of one. Maybe After Tonight, someone said One More 'Gen but I'm drawing a blank here. I remember Wendy Williams saying she couldn't even picture MC having sex. Then Eminem claimed he masturbated on her belly and she acted like his semen was toxic waste and panicked "Get it off me." Maybe she's anatomically like a Barbie doll. Oh wait she had dem babies. Gee I hope Eric publishes this.

Randy, this is going to sound out of left field, but check out Paula Cole's "Feelin' Love". It just - yeah. Oh, and I always add Toni's You're Making Me High.
