Though you said you thought she won't hit number 1 this year. Maybe she'll hit number 1 on the chart for the first week of 2024 which will keep her streak going. I remember it was a really tight race last year as well and RATCT was also number 1 on Spotify last year but more towards the end. I don't think any amount of promotion at this point will make people stream or buy this song more than they already do. I don't think Mariah has anything left to accomplish with AIWFC - most of us were hoping it would help her get her longest running number 1 title back. It still can, might just take longer now. I think some people are generally getting a little tired of AIWFC (as per comments seen online). Heck even I tend to skip it on my Christmas playlist now sometimes - but whenever it does come on it still sounds pretty darn good I'll admit.
