Is Mariah in a Jacksons video? (102,386) by Maxym from Here
Hello. The music-related community I'm the most active in currently is that of Michael Jackson (and some others completely unrelated), but I came up with a cross-artist question that maybe I have more chance to get an answer to here.

I noticed that one of the dancer girls in the Jacksons "Art of Madness" video reminds me much of Mariah Carey. (At approx. 1:41.) I guess there are good chances it will simply be some totally random biased-by-video-photography-look-alike, but what makes me think that may be her is:
- The album *2300 Jackson Street* was released in 1989 on Epic, which was already linked to Columbia and Sony in that time.
- Mariah had already met Mottola and Columbia (since 1988 according to Wikipedia).
- She was not famous yet and I guess she always like Jacksons/Jackson 5 stuff, so I could easily extrapolate something like Mottola asking "Hey the Jacksons are shooting video, do you want to be in?"
- The way she stand with a head and lips at some point is very reminiscent of pictures Mariah from the early 90s to me.
- I though, OK but she didn't have her hair on her front in that era, but it happened she did, has in this picture (from 1989 according to Google). Though when she appears again at approx. 02:00, there are image where I think she still looks like Mariah, and other images not has much. Hair is attached in the back which I think is also unusual.

So maybe it's completely wrong, I would to end up with a "definitely yes" or "definitely no".

Biggest non #1 hit after 33 years (102,385) by Horacio from United States
I forgot to include Endless Love - that has been getting decent replays on Spotify.

I didn't include Can't Let Go because its Spotify numbers have been bleak, even thought it's one her most beautiful songs.

These songs were #2, but they are better than many of her number ones.
1. Endless Love
2. Can't Let Go
3. Without You
4. Shake It Off

It's good we can create our own version of #1's. Some of the best tracks would be excluded from Greatest Hits CDs forcing people to buy the whole album from which the track came from. Then there was the beautify of buying the tracks individually, so that trick didn't make sense anymore. I haven't ever played Infinity as part of her #1's.

BE Remix is nearing its 1st Anniversary (102,381) by "MariahHater" from Hell
Big Energy Remix is almost 1 year. How time flies. It's rally a good bop and sounds fresh until now. I remembered when it was released. There was a great deal of hype. Sadly, it didn't charted the way we wanted yet a good addition to her catalogue.

Definitely "Without you". This song will stay forever and still is one of her signature sounds, loved by so many people, not only fans. Then there follows with a huge distance "When you believe", "I know what you want" and "It's like that".

Why must she choose Infinity as the bonus single? (102,378) by Rashidi Rahim Rick from Malaysia
Of all the break up songs that she has, from The Rarities and other unreleased songs, why she had to choose Infinity? She can either pick the inspirational ballad like I Pray, or the "woe is me" kind of ballad like Out Here On My Own, or she can go for the happy diss song like Cool On You, or fun retro like Mesmerized. Any of those songs that she choose as bonus/leading single from that 2015 era would definitely turn out better.

One thing is clear, Aries are power people. (And often bosses, that's true.) My grandma is an Aries too, her birthday is one day before Mariah's.

Which MC single that did not reach #1 on Billboard Hot 100 has had the best longevity since its release? I think Spotify numbers in the last few years help determine modern reception and enjoyment in the general public. Contenders:
Without You
Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)
Oh Holy Night
When You Believe
I Know What You Want
It's Like That
Shake It Off
Obsessed
#Beautiful

#Beautiful (102,375) by Bobby A from United States
#Beautiful does not have that signature Mariah melody that we have been used to. It is the first time that she recorded a song that was already half-written with the chords and lyrics from two other songwriters - Miguel and Happy Perez. The remix showcases signature Mariah melody more.

I love me some #Beautiful, don't get me wrong. I played that song like there was no tomorrow, but there was always the feeling that something was missing. Many speculated back then it was just a shortened version for the radio. One must admit though that it was her last time she was close to having a hit.

I hear the points but, although short, I like the track and Mariah’s verse. It was a light-hearted summer jam. Sure, not a full blown song, but still superior and integral to her catalogue than Almost Home or Art of Letting Go, both out around the same time (both are guilty pleasures).

#Beautiful (102,369) by Edward from USA
#Beautiful is a nice song, but it lacks a bridge or something. Some artists sacrifice the integrity of their songs by making them too short in order to have a better chance at a hit. Mariah has just a six-line verse in #Beautiful while Miguel has an 8-line one and then the chorus. Marian [sic] sounded like a guest on her own song.

"All Cried Out" should've been recorded by Marian [sic]. Now that's a great song.

RCA UK (102,367) by Bobby A from United States
Remember in the Fall of 2021 we were all surprised that Fall In Love At Christmas was released on RCA Inspiration and not Epic. Well, I found out today that MC is signed to RCA UK. I guess that RCA UK was all Sony Entertainment could offer MC since she had not submitted a follow up to Caution in a timely manner. Check it out by doing a Google search - Mariah Carey signs with RCA Records.

It had so much potential. The song and the fire remixes including the unreleased one would have pushed it to the top.
