I'll be watching "dem babies" over the next few years. I wonder if that talent Mariah was blessed with shines through her twins? Like how Whitney got Cissy's (and then some in my opinion).

I was talking about the kids being friends with each other. I don't expect any mama drama. You can be related and not be friends, or even "cool".

Yes it was such a great concert at Wembley. I remember my parents driving me down. I can remember queuing up and I remember every minute. I remember meeting my mum and dad outside and they had been been stood near a vent waiting for me and said they could hear her and were picturing my face being inside. It was such a magical time and I have great memories.

Mariah did not make it through the various rough patches in her career because she was "lucky". She has real grit, and I think it developed at a young age, when she had to live through all of her family drama, followed by her doing whatever it took to make it in the music business. All that gave her the courage to leave TM when it became too toxic to handle, and it's why she survived the Glitter era. It seems clear now that the family was trying to get some of that Mariah money (as they always are) and what better way to do that than to have Mariah committed?
I'm not sure what she was thinking with Stella, as everything about the 2015-2017 period is incredibly misguided. I think nothing about the time period was even real - Packer, all of it. It was all Stella aka Gremlin putting on a real life reality show. But I digress. Maybe Mariah is a little lucky, but that's not why she made it through all of those things. She made it because she's strong, and she's a bad bitch! And I mean that in the most complimentary way.

Hopefully they won't be tainted by Mariah's side of the family. The tainted siblings are the twins' aunt and uncle, no relation to the rest of the half siblings.

Us online actually has a spread of recent pictures of Nick with the oldest four. Monroe is holding Powerful, looking adoringly at her face. Rocky is the big brother overseeing the gang. There's a cute pic of Nick with Roc who they misidentified as Golden. They also called Nick's grandma his mother. His mom Beth probably is overwhelmed with grands, yikes. I know it's bananas but we don't know their lives really.

That ad, watching Monroe pay tribute to young Mariah, I got goosebumps. It was so nice and I'm sure Mariah is super proud. Monroe definitely has the star quality confidence in her, and she looks so much like a young Mariah. I also feel super old because I remember Mariah's pregnancy era with the whole Easter egg pregnant belly painting moment hahah and now they're so grown up. I'm glad that Mariah will always have her 2 babies as her best friends.

If all the baby mamas put their kids first, they should all get along. After all, they're family. I think that the only thing Mariah wants from Nick is for him to be a good father to her kids, and I think he's accomplished it so far. Maybe the other baby mamas might worry about money and stuff, but they should all deal with Nick in that case. No reason for any of them to have beef with Mariah.

I feel like Mariah was probably in her most vulnerable/heartbroken state (outside of the [Glitter] era) during her divorce from Nick, which made her more susceptible to someone like a Stella who would come in and give this false sense of comfort/an extended family unit. It was clear as day for most people to see that she was falling prey to someone who couldn't be trusted and it would end bad.
I feel she's now in her best most stable place mentally that she's been in years and she's really learned the lesson this time. She really seems at peace with her life now which makes me happy.
Though we can all agree that MC has had some great career blunders, we can also take comfort in the fact that she had given us so much great heartfelt, purposeful music throughout her career that could carry us a lifetime. Of course I still wish she had preserved her voice better, had the "more seasoned 90s version" of it now, and was still giving us Daydream MSG level live performances every single time she hit the stage, but I'll choose to look at the glass half full and just take it as she sung her voice and heart out giving us all she had in her. She left it all on the floor and could bow out gracefully now if she wanted and will still be regarded as one of the best to ever do it.

You're so petty, lol. But Monroe looks so lovingly at her new baby sister. I do hope they will all be cool, if not friends with one another.

Mariah grew up with two horrible siblings by her side. That's why Nick is making sure Roc and Roe are surrounded by 20 good siblings. There's nothing like a huge family full of love and baby mamas enjoying the same Cannon. After all, in polygamy there are usually 4 or 5 baby mamas popping kids as if they were pop corn and they all get along.

MC loves her children. You can see it everytime we see Roc and Monroe. Also, the Cannon siblings are going to be a mighty team 20 years from now. Nick is going to make sure of that.

I [love] this woman so I am not gonna bash her nor rehash what she could've done different then, I respect her enough to acknowledge she was young, made mistakes like we all have and did the best she could at the time. What I wanna see Mariah do now is seek professional help. Ditch the bubbly and become more disciplined and dedicated to her craft and instrument. Yes Mariah you're a songwriter but you are also a [singer] and not just a singer, but a [vocalist] of the highest caliber and one third of the vocal trinity. I [still] believe in her gift, talent and writing abilities a hundred percent.

I remember watching Barbara Walters interview Mariah I believe for the Academy Awards. It was after the success of TEOM. Mariah said something to the effect of "if someone thinks they can manipulate me again, they are dead wrong". Looks like Mariah was dead wrong. I think MC gravitates toward those who she thinks will take care of her but end up taking over her life. Tommy. Stella. Next? Hopefully after Stella she's learned her lesson. One can only hope. Isn't it ironic?

I think you all losing the point of the meaning of a Memoir, it's her recollections and her story. Obviously those people you mentioned didn't mean much to Mariah at all.
I wish she went even harder on those blood sucking vultures, they have fed stories about her since 1990, and this is Mariah finally having enough and I'm so proud of her.

I believe Mariah is just lucky. Glitter could have destroyed her, NYE could have destroyed her. Somehow she made it. Showbiz likes that kind of story.

Isn't it ironic isn't just an Alanis Morissette song. It's the way I view Mariah escaping a potentially career ending, controlling situation with Tommy to only end up with Stella, who one could surmise was more controlling (keeping possession of Mariah's phone so LA Reid couldn't get ahold of her). Stella came this close to ending Mariah's career for good.
