Re: Cosmetic surgery (97,073) (97,076) by ktktkt from Philippines
Mariah had rhinoplasty. I honestly think it could've somehow affected her midrange. It must be around 1997 when she had her nose done. As the swelling subsided, her mid voice thinned out too.

I am not sure if she had botox, it could be genes why her skin "does not know" wrinkles.

Re: Cosmetic surgery (97,073) (97,075) by Chicago Lamb from USA
I feel like her nose has been played with. Sometimes I think it's her makeup a'la sharp high-lighting and other times the tip looks to be augmented. There's a non invasive procedure she may have done. There are definitely fillers in her upper-cheeks. She still looks great and the fact that we can't pin point it, is testament to that. She's had cool sculpting or something akin to it in her mid section. A girl has got to stay youthful looking. Happy New Year to all.

Cosmetic surgery (97,073) by Andrew from the United Kingdom
I feel like Mariah has had even more cosmetic surgery to the face but I cannot quite put my finger on what it is. Can anyone with a good eye name it?

The word "hater" is just one of several words weaponised by people who aren't very clever in order to shut down debate.

I'm pretty sure he was being nice to you. You have a habit of taking everything the wrong way.

Real funny. We already have negativity in 2021. There are people called haters and we give them positivity. My post was a serious one.

2020 (97,070) by B from USA
In 2020 Mariah blessed us countless amazing live performances, a deeply personal memoir, TMOMC, which allowed her to tell her "unvarnished truth", while elevating the audiobook into an art form, releasing The Rarities, a collection of previously unreleased songs including the original version of Loverboy, and a festive Apple TV special Mariah's Magical Christmas Special. I almost forgot to mention her duet with Busta Rhymes Where I Belong. Mariah ended 2019 and began 2020 at #1 and ended 2020 and began 2021.

I don't know her, but I'm here for it. I think you should tweet at them and make it happen. You can make it, make it happen.

Butterfly era unreleased (97,068) by Rashidi Rahim Rick from Malaysia
Mariah took her time writing and recording the Butterfly album from 1996 until middle 1997. I was wondering if there any unreleased songs from that period. I wish for at least one unreleased song because I love her voice in that album.

Seeking your opinion (97,067) by Bobby A from United States
I was thinking today how I Just Can't Stop Loving You would sound if Mariah Carey and Daley recorded it in 2021. I feel radio would play it because of two very unique voices together on a classic song. It would definitely help both of their careers. Harvey Mason Jr. or Babyface should produce it. What do the Lambs think?

Tokyo Dome: Anytime you need a friend (97,065) by MusicfanJ from Germany
It doesn't matter how often I watch this song, every time I'm overwhelmed by the classic performance. So powerful with so much soul. Mariah was out of this world at that night. That lucky audience. Sayonara.

Yes best wishes for all of us. I'm watching Mariah at Toyko Dome right now. It's funny that I know every word she's talking to the audience. Epic. Cheers to a better 2021.

Hello, 2021 (97,063) by this_is_qhm from the Philippines
When Yummy opened the year, we all should have taken it as the universe's warning of what was to come for mankind. Hindsight is 2020.

The year was the biggest bitch yet, but it was at least a little less bleak for us Lambs thanks to Mariah. While pretty much everyone in the entertainment industry, even the hottest ones, have been set back by the current global situation, leave it to her to thrive and keep her fans fed during a pandemic.

Cheers to a COVID-free 2021. May it be kinder to us all.

Just wait until 2020 turns 21 and starts drinking, lol. We are in trouble. I'm only kidding. Here's hoping 2021 is a bit better for us all. Happy New Year!

2020 was a difficult year, if not insanely crazy. At least for us lambs there was a silver lining with plenty of goods from Mimi. I wish everybody a festive transition into the New Year, which will hopefully be less chalenging.

Did anybody else order the Merry Christmas II You vinyl from MC's store and not receive it yet? It was supposed to ship in December.

Re: Beyond Christmas (97,053) (97,056) by Andrew from the United Kingdom
Christmas decorations are supposed to stay up until January 5, you Scrooge, you.

Mariah should be capitalising on Christmas to advance knowledge of or exposure to her back catalogue. She will disappear now into the ether.

Here's another idea for you: why just one Christmas special next year? Why not a series of three or four weekly episodes leading up to the final one on Christmas Eve with each episode including her non-Christmas songs interspersed among the Christmas ones?

For someone who recently said he/she desires a mute button you should follow your own advice more closely, sweetheart.

This message is just a reply directed towards no one. I always browse MC message boards and I am just so proud of her and the success AIWFCIY has had going to #1 last year. 19 number 1 singles, a number 1 song in 4 decades... come on. It's amazing and who really cares if it's Christmas or if anyone is knocking her for being the Christmas queen, clearly this many people in the world love the song every year. And to anyone ever saying she will not chart again besides her Christmas song, please let me know who has or who will "had/have" the success Mariah has had 30 years into her career. It will never happen with anyone. Again 19 number 1's, a number 1 single in 4 decades and breaking records for the most streams in a single day for any artist in the world on Spotify. Go MC you are the queen and you make any kind of music you want that expresses yourself and who cares if it charts, flops, and what anybody has to say about it. You proved yourself for 3 decades straight and ain't nobody gonna take that away.

Shhhh, don't give away our secret to surviving this place.

I always listen to Christmas music until January 1st. I get in a few final listens as I take down decorations. The music never has that same magic after Christmas. It's like someone let the air out of the bag. Maybe that's where he's coming from.

There's nothing quite as lamb-depressing as looking at the Spotify and Apple Music charts a couple of days after Christmas.
