There are many ways to disagree without being nasty or toxic. Let's respect the space by respecting their main rule. I am loving this era for Mariah. Well, some came out drooling over how cute Bill from the UK is when he first posted his picture, and some peed in their pants of excitement when Todd from Australia posted his. If you don't like what Andrew has to say, there are a gazillion of other posts in here. This board won't ever be your Mary Poppins' Utopic Garden. It's so easy to just skip posts, I do it on a regular basis, and I don't have to keep regurgitating how much I hate this or that poster. For that, I use Whatsapp, lol. Focus on the new music and you'll be happy. If you have a crush on Andrew, well, I think you all might have to get a room, even though I don't think Andrew is into orgies or anything like that. Save The Day (95,079) by Jono from USA I wanted to love it, but in the end I'm kind of indifferent to it. I knew that getting my hopes up of having a Mariah/Lauryn "collab" would backfire. The issue is the production, it's just too messy. It's like Infinity - the song doesn't know what it wants to be and where it wants to go. The intro sounds misplaced and should have been cut. The beat that kicks in should have come in right after the strings in the beginning. I do love the interpolation of "Killing Me Softly" as it's one of the most gorgeous melodies in music history; and they sound absolutely killer together. Maybe the song is a grower, but first impressions are just meh. (Friday 21 August 2020; 17:05)

Did you forget (95,078) by Edward from USA People here seem to have forgotten about the snippet she let out of the vault from "All In Your Mind, Take 2". I'm looking forward to listening to that one, she's definitely going to include it in the track-list. I don't think she should waste space on the disk with tracks that, even though were not on album releases, at least got released as b-sides and bonus tracks on international releases. Save the day (95,074) by Gee from U.S.A. (New York City) This was done between 2013-15 I believe, and it was finished recently to coincide with the current times, and also to celebrate MC30. I actually appreciate the song wholeheartedly. I can do without JD talking on the track, because those that knows JD's production can definitely tell that his sound has not evolved since Confessions, and TEOM eras. Yes I will always love, and respect what MC, and JD have done together however after Caution JD should be limited to a song every now and then. (Friday 21 August 2020; 14:37)

Save The Day (95,071) by Will from Australia Creatively I felt like this was a step back after the progress she made with Caution. I don't hate it and it's a grower but the production sounds terrible. JD y'all know what this isn't, just grinds on me. The slow start is too boring for radio, I do like when the beat kicks in and the whole track should have been produced like this. The Lauren sample is annoying while in the background but awesome when used in the chorus and bridge. The end of the song sounded very In The Mix-ish to me too. But as much as I love the sample, I couldn't help but think the idea was a rip off of Drake sampling Emotions and JD trying to be popular, someone take a restraining order out on him and any future Mariah projects please. Not only does it do harm to people who suffer from mental health issues, but trying to "out" people, for want of a better word, is despicable. I'ts also hugely offensive to diminish someones opinion based on mental health issues. If someone wants to talk about their mental health issues, it is great, but unless you're qualified and know the person you're diagnosing personally, then you're doing more harm to sufferers of mental health than good. If you can't handle a different opinion, then I'm afraid it isn't Andrew who needs to leave this message board. The whole point is to listen to an array of views, and not just sycophantic fandom for the sake of it. Save the Day (95,064) by Bill from the UK I would have preferred the Butterfly era remix EPs but hope they make an appearance next week. But I can't complain. Mariah is releasing lots of great material for us and it is appreciated. Save the Day isn't terrible, but it isn't one of the best either. In fact, much like Crapfinity, it could be the one blip on the compilation album. I do love Lauryn's sample though. (Friday 21 August 2020; 12:50)

Save the Day (95,063) by Terna from Nigeria A clip of it leaked on Instagram yesterday and I thought it was something made up by the Lambily in anticipation of the actual record. Turns out it was legit but just a snippet. Now that I've heard it in its entirety, I can see why it was left in the vault, I feel like that sample works, up until the "lalala" part towards the end where you unconsciously just want to go "strumming my pain" lol. That's testament to Lauryn's talent, and the identity of that original sample. Records like that are very hard to sample and make your own. Mariah gets points for taking such a distinctive record and crafting one with a different facet both lyrically and melodically. (Friday 21 August 2020; 11:52)

Re: Save the Day (95,052) (95,061) by Anonymous from Glad you like the song Lee, I'm not really feeling it to be honest. It's not that it's not good, it's just a little too cheesy for me. Also when Mariah samples a continuous hook in the background, it's off putting. Found that to be the same with "Skydiving" as well. The only part which I loved about "Save the day" was when Mariah and Ms Lauryn Hill harmonised together towards the end. The song seems more suited to the fans and not the mainstream audience. I also don't like the opening when Mariah sings in that particular note, it's sickly sweet. I love old skool songs and "Save the day" is reminiscent of that. But, I think the song could have been produced better and I would have changed the theme of it as well. I'm not one for preaching/lets change the world together. I never liked "Where is the love" or "Earth song". It's rare that theme is done well. To me "Save the day" would have been more fitting released with a film like "Save the last dance" or "Step up". Doubt the song will grow on me as I won't intentionally play it again for enjoyment. I will still stream it though, low in the background to help with cause. On a positive note I am thankful that Mariah is releasing music from her back catalogue and I will definitely purchase her new album. (Friday 21 August 2020; 11:39)

I can't speak for his mental health, but it doesn't seem in a good place. Being a bit of an expert both personally and professionally I can say there are underlying issues there.
