Re: AYNAF (Soul Convention Remix) video (94,893) (94,896) by Bill from the UK
For the longest time I was saying how HTHAS at GMA was 1991, due to the Can't Let Go video hairdo, but everyone kept insisting it was 1994. The arrangement is different (and better) to the version that ended up being recorded.

Sarcasm? Moi?

It is actually a good YouTube channel, though. Check it out.

Are you being sarcastic? Because that's not the video.

Mariah Carey's Archives on YouTube (nothing to do with this website) already had the Soul Convention Remix video.

It's actually a really good YouTube channel. It sorted out
the Hark The Herald Angels Sing clip date for me. It isn't 1994 (despite Mariah looking very 1994 in it). And despite the title of the video saying 1992, the clip is in fact from 1991 as the GMA titles says "Monday Dec 23" which fell in that year.

Re: Allison (94,890) (94,891) by Anonymous from
Apologies there B, I interpreted your message to read as though Mariah was dedicating the anniversary period to her sister. I said I felt for Allison and explained my reasons, I don't care for her being older. With ages comes wisdom yet we still make mistakes, even big ones too. Safe to say I'm done with this topic, it's literally sucking the life out of the board. Onwards and upwards.

Re: Allison (94,887) (94,890) by B from USA
My source is the liner notes of Mariah's debut album; she dedicated it to her, and Allison sells a story about satanic rituals to a tabloid during a celebratory time in her sister's career. She chose to do what she did, she wasn't some innocent underage girl like she likes to claim, she's like 10 years older than Mariah.

Re: Allison (94,887) (94,889) by Andrew from the United Kingdom
Addiction is a disease that destroys people's lives and often the lives of the people around them. Those who lambast drug addicts for their mistakes and their actions that harm other people are absolute bellends who have no idea what addictions do to even to the nicest, kindest and most lovely of people. Serious addicts deserve empathy and need help. And you certainly don't just dismiss complaints of sexual abuse that they make just because they are addicts.

Allison has made an accusation of child abuse against a person still living which must be investigated. To simply act like she is lying and make up a reason for the alleged lie - something as spurious as her trying to harm an anniversary of an album release that almost nobody but the most ardent of fans really gives two tiny shits about - is a joke and outrageous to the public decency.

This is what makes me laugh about the wokest of people who act sanctimoniously and moralise from on high: their absolute hypocrisy and their complete blindness to it.

B is for bellend.

Re: Allison (94,886) (94,887) by Anonymous from
As I've said, I know Mariah has tried to help her. With regards to the dedication and anniversary release, I didn't know that. What's your source? I'd like to read that. I doubt anyone wants to be an addict and addicts do terrible things, the addiction is more important than anything when it gets a grip. I understand Mariah backing away from her, however it doesn't deter that I still feel for Allison. If it's all lies and self inflicting then again I feel for her. Her soul is troubled either way and she has to live with the choices she has made.

As for Patrica, I'm still unsure and whatever amazing things she has done, that's just the way I feel.

Re: Allison (94,867) (94,886) by B from USA
Allison wants to ruin the 30th anniversary of her sister's debut album, which she dedicated to her. Mariah tried repeatedly to help her, and she'd get clean and then relapse, and it got so bad that her children were taken away from her and not how she's always claimed how it happened. She was caught under the influence while prostituting and she'd left the kids at home by themselves and a neighbor called CPS and CPS contacted the closest relative which was Patrica, and they gave her temporary custody and eventually full custody.

I know I was like I've never seen this video before and then when Mariah shared a link to it on her social media pages she said it was previously unreleased video and I was like I knew it, lol.

Stop. I just went on here to post the link and of course you already beat me. What is this even? How does this exist? I didn't even know it existed and I can't believe it's a thing. I still haven't watched it because I'm in the middle of something somewhere but can't wait to get home and watch it. Yay I love MC30.

That's what's up. I have a defeatist attitude a lot of times when it comes to any type of activism so I watch from afar or give $20 to the cause. You're a hero Andrew. Edward I'm now living in NYC maybe we can hang out.

AYNAF (Soul Convention Remix) video (94,878) by Bill from the UK
Wow, MC just uploaded a video for the Soul Convention Remix of AYNAF with new footage. I never even knew this existed until today. Is there hope for the Underneath the Stars video? Also will she release Can You Hear Me (had to get it in there). PS. I was at the London leg of the Daydream tour FYI.

Re: Favourite four (94,852) (94,877) by Anonymous from
Randy, you made me laugh. I'm not a fan of Hero either but hearing Andy sing it from the depths of his soul is when I like it the most.

Ok, here are my choices, which are a mixture covers/samples.
1. Beautiful Ones
2. My All/ Stay Awhile
3. Just Be Good To Me
4. Honey - Bad Boy Remix

I think I fit the mould of a party Lamb.

Re: Bill (94,862) (94,873) by Bill from the UK
Haha thank you Jade. Alas, it dries up post-Rainbow as I stopped collecting after that point (had to draw a line somewhere, and her remixes were never as good as they were in the mid 90s so I wasn't too bothered not having every version). But yes if the specialist subject is MC remixes 1990-2000 then sign me up haha.

The Associate Managing Editor of The Sun has written back: "I understand your concerns and we have now amended the article."

There's a small win, eh? Will be interesting to see if this signals a change in future editorial policy at The Sun.
