I was perusing YouTube and watched an old interview with Zsa Zsa Gabor (love her) on "The Joan Rivers Show". It was the complete episode, and after Zsa Zsa, there was a segment with three fitness fanatics who devoted their lives to working out. Lo and behold, one of them was Morgan. Not sure if anyone ever mentioned this video on the board before, but I thought I'd share it. (Morgan's segment comes on at 30:28.) I did some Googling, and the episode aired on November 13, 1989.

Why does she keep saying she's "trying to get it out but doesn't know how"? Seems like there's more to it. First she told us she was collaborating with a younger artist on it (why does she need anyone on it we want to hear her voice on those songs?).

That was really a good interview. It was nice to read. Best one since a long time. I also think "Miss you (most at Christmas time)" is one of the saddest. It's another classic and should get more attention. I love this song so much. Her answer with Happy Xmas (War is Over) is how I always feel too. I guess every human with a heart gets emotionally with it. I also can't wait for the alternative rock release. And the new album of course. I wish Mariah would get another Grammy, she doesn't need it, but it's so overdue. Maybe with the rock or jazz album.  But for now I'm excited for the upcoming BBC special.

Oh that's good news. I recognized the new style of dressing too. It looks wonderful on her. I will wait a bit with the Christmas music. But if the mood is right, MC will be played endlessly for the Christmas season.  Just like every year.

Mariah is taking the MC30 promotion very seriously I'm so happy. According to MariahNow Brazil's instagram she will make a major holiday announcement on 31st October with Melissa Forman at 8:20am on LiteFm 93.9. On the LiteFm website it says she will kick off the holiday music with them on November 1st with a special message.
MariahNow also says she's recorded a Christmas special with BBC for UK and they have a beautiful new picture of her from the upcoming LA times shoot I hope this link I've attched works.
Anyone else noticed Mariah dressing more "demure and mindful"  since the last couple of months (Mimi L. that was for you).
Ps. I started my Mariah Christmas music already this morning. Anybody else?

I'm very excited about the passing comment in the LA Times' interview with MC, where they mentions that the setting in which she was interviewed, was the for a Christmas special for the BBC (the UK's main broadcasting station). Very exciting to hear more about it.

Billboard has counted down the 25 greatest pop stars of the 21st century over the last few months, and the top 5 will be revealed the next weeks. Mariah is not on the list yet, and she was not mentioned in their article about honorable mentions wich consisted of the 25 artists that didn't make the list. It's impossible to think that she isn't mentioned in that article if she is not considered as one of the 25 greatest, so, I think she will be in the top 5.
Billboard accompanies each reveal with a lenghty essay, and she might just be 5th in that list, so be sure to check out Billboard next week and the next five weeks.

Mariah recently did an interview and they asked her about Honey and her collaboration with Diddy. They asked the recent allegations impact her when she hears that song. This was her answer: "That's hard not to happen when stuff goes on and you hear somebody's voice on a record. You're like, Hmmm. It's weird, you know? But honestly, Honey was more a representation of me than anybody else, and I know that. The other people that were involved - or maybe the other person that we're talking about - wasn't really that involved." So looks like Mariah makes her stance quite clear which I can appreciate. I also appreciate that she addressed it and didn't tell her PR to remove any questions about Diddy.

The people here still watch more TV than Netflix and co. I saw it on the evening news on TV yesterday. But the attention span is really not the best by some youngsters. Anyway I'm excited for her "It's time" video too and hopefully some good surprises for Mariah's favorite season.

The website description says she'll talk about the tour and MC30 (mostly Drew will talk to her about her Christmas traditions I'm sure). Gone are the days when people make announcements on these shows RA. All done on social media now, though I'd love to be wrong and have her announce something substantial. I don't know why she didn't come on the November 1st show. Insider rumours on X say that she has a couple of big guest stars on her "It's tiiiiime" video this year, maybe that's why she's doing the 31st one since it's pre taped and she can't discuss the video.

Yes. Love Takes Time is on the disc, but it just didn't make the tracklist for the cd packaging. My copy is rare in another way in that it has a "For Promotional Use" sticker covering the UPC barcode. I guess it was a copy sent to radio stations.

I was out shopping this weekend and found a rare debut tri-fold cd. Inside the cardboard tri-fold cd case are pictures, the tracklisting, and a two-fold picture of MC holding the microphone. Does anyone else have this rare CD? Also, this rare CD made me immediately think about Bill. MC's debut album is his favorite MC album. I purchased a Wal-Mart exclusive vinyl and shipped it to him. Bill was really serious about his disappointment with MC's lip syncing during her performances. He hasn't posted in nine months or more. Hopefully, he still reads posts on the board. We miss you, Blll.

This is great news. I don't think her visit to the show is just a random visit. Maybe MC will announce that there will be another CBS Christmas special this year and some other surprises. The Drew Barrymore Show is produced by CBS Media Ventures. In 2022, the Christmas special was a huge ratings winner for CBS.
