Yeah I caught that part. Mariah basically recorded that Emancipation album all year through 2004, there are so many song titles from then that did not make the final cut. They could see the light of day next year for it's 20th anniversary. (Where did time go? I just bought this album.  ) Lol.

This is what I found out about the December 6th presave. The St. Johns concert will be released digitally and on vinyl remastered as apart of Merry Christmas 30th Anniversary with the live version of Hero from St. Johns concert as a bonus.

Isn't AIWFC projected to chart at #10 this week? Why are we so worried about it not doing well this year?. It's charting one week later than last year but pretty high - probably just missed the top 25 mark last week. It is strange how Last Christmas debuted at 38 with that rule. It is my second most favourite Christmas song of all time - I'd be happy if it gets to number 1 as well. Of course she has nothing left to prove but having the number 1 song in the country will always be a big deal to the lambily and of course to Mariah.

I really love "Last Christmas" and have been playing it quite often of late, that vintage sound from the 80's and the nostalgia that comes with it is gold, I won't be surprised if it hits number one this year. Music from the 80's is honestly the best to me.

I don't think Mariah has any plans for a part 3 yet or even thought about it at all. From what I gathered, the hosts were talking about how E=MC2 is Emancipation's sequel and they were the ones who came up with the idea of part 3 and asked if Mariah considers Caution pt. 3 of the the TEOM sequels or if that's something that'll come at some point in the future. To which Mariah said it'll be in the future meaning she doesn't consider Caution to be related to TEOM. She in no way seemed to have even thought of creating a part 3 and was just playing along with the idea the hosts threw out there. If there's ever a part 3 the theme should follow of the previous titles, my vote goes to Mirage (pulling from Mariah's nick name where she used her other nick names for the previous versions - Mimi for TEOM and MC for the sequel), or it can be MonarC (having the M and C but also a nod to her record label and her love for butterflies and what butterflies represent - transformation and hope) it'll also be a cheeky nod to her being the monarch (queen of music). Other options The Evolution of Mimi, Legacy, Metamorphosis. Haha ok I'll stop for now.

It could simply be called MC. We knew her first as Mariah Carey, then Mimi, and has always been respectfully called by Jermaine Dupri MC. Her emancipation would be complete with her next album called MC.

I just learned Christian Siriano designed Mariah's dress for her memoir and that amazingly magical fairytale pink number at the Macy's Day Parade a few years back. I think he should dress Mariah for every [red] carpet. He gets her and she feels so comfortable and expressive in his designs imo.

Mariah [is] saying in the Las Culturistas podcast they emancipation off Mimi part 3 is coming in the future is reassuring enough. I'm excited to see what happens in 2025. She has an incredible ear for music and is a known perfectionist. I hope she's curating this next album and phase very carefully. I'm beyond excited and hopeful. If it hits great, if it doesn't I'm sure I'll enjoy it just the same.

The (fill in the blank) of Mimi? I don't want it to be like a farewell title because I want more albums after. How about The Proclamation of Mimi, reminding everyone she is an icon. I know it's obviously Emancipation Proclamation speech but I think it could work.

I also hope Mariah will never work with Chris Brown. When I hear his name, I still see the Rihanna pic on my mind, which looked like a heavy beaten boxer on a movie or someone who had a bad accident. It was so disgusting. By the way, I never thought his talent is outstanding. His voice is nothing special. Totally overrated even without the criminal scandals. He's a no no.
