Dev Hynes on working with Mariah in the studio (90,593) by 123 from USA I love it when other producers/songwriters talk about her songwriting/producing talent/genius. He really has a lot to respect for her. They seem pretty close now and I feel like he might be at the helm of a lot of songs on her next album. It makes sense since he was in her insta stuff. Remember, she thought of them as her "lil sis and lil brother" ("Petals") as opposed to stepmom. I think it's endearing that she still keeps in contact with them. Look at the 1:07 mark. I'm sure Mariah doesn't give a damn what the public thinks. She only wants something to prove to her black sheep sister. On the side note, Tommy ain't on a hand. They have married when she "was technically a virgin". He wanted to preserve her unique voice, because he was afraid that hormone release after virginity loss could had changed her voice for vorce or even damage it (it happened before Butterfly era). So they never had sex. So that's why in Larry King interview she said "there are other forms of abuse". I hope that another mystery has been solved. (Monday 12 August 2019; 17:48)
