Favourite whistle (89,892) by Bill from the UK In an attempt to steer the conversation away from Mariah's posterior, do any of you all have a favourite whistle of Mariah's? Tough question I know as her catalogue is peppered with so many great ones. I love the first "inside" on Emotions as all the music drops out except the bass, and you're left with that piercing note before the beat kicks back in. Same song, the "you make me feel so h-h-h-high" at the bridge is phenomenal. I also love the Bringin' On the Heartbreak climax, all the background textures going on in Underneath the Stars, and that stunning "shining sea" on America the Beautiful (1990). Another great one is the Anytime You Need a Friend remix, where she's clearly having fun with it. Oh Mariah. What a gift you have. (Monday 10 June 2019; 10:21)

However, I want another true pop album from MC next time. Somebody is going to whisper in her ear that Ed Sherran can put her back on top again. She's had twins, she's a superstar, she's gorgeous and any work she has had done is done at beyond expert levels of perfection and subtlety. We know Mariah had her breasts done. Personally I think 3 times (1997, 2011, and again in 2017). Why would she be ashamed over some butt injections? people inject stuff into their face, legs, booties, necks etc. all the time. I have friends in their 20's, living regular middle class, pay cheque to pay cheque lives getting fillers and injections. Also, look at Dolly Parton, Jane Fonda, Joy Behar, all the Kardashians, they are all open and proud of the work they've had done and all look amazing. It's not like she's looking a mess; like when Courtney Cox, Renee Zellweger and Nicole Kidman got their whack faces (which all three have corrected recently, lol, thank goodness). By the way, I still own Jagged Little Pill. Mariah should've won Best Female Pop Vocal Performance and Best Female R&B Vocal Performance at the 96 Grammy's. Mariah losing every vocal performance Grammy she was nominated for after winning Best Female Pop Vocal Performance for Vision of Love is a travesty. I'm glad she made the album she wanted to make and hope she continues doing so. I wish she'd releases Caution as a single. She looks amazing so she could easily resurrect Agent M for the video. Such is your blatant bias in absolutely everything you say that no opinion you give can be taken seriously. Jagged Little Pill was a monument of its time, was the soundtrack to a whole year, let alone a summer, and was loved by absolutely everyone everywhere and forever. I must agree with William, were I to hand out the award, I would feel bare guilty for handing it to Mariah given what Alanis achieved. It's not like she didn't know, nobody liked Stella, not even Wendy Williams, but she made her choice now she has to deal with the bootiquences. She was in a very vulnerable place in her life when she met her due to the divorce and I think Stella was ushered in by Ratner, who Mariah trusted. I think Mariah felt protected by Stella's abrasive and combative behavior. She may have even lived vicariously through Stella and used her as a mouthpiece to say things she never could say without backlash (i.e. when Stella called Tommy a relic, blamed DCP for the NYE debacle, etc). It reminds me of women who fantasize about having a man who would be willing to physically fight any other man who so much as looks at her because they think a man being jealous and crazy over them is loving and cute. Little do they know that man is probably going to go upside their head next if he's that unstable and reactive with others. If someone treats everyone around them like trash, you will be next. Mariah thought Stella's ridiculous and unprofessional behavior on her behalf was cute and then Stella used that same venomous energy on Mariah with baseless lawsuits and claims. The new Mariah (89,879) by Will from Australia I honestly could not give two rats about if Mariah has or hasn't had work done to her. Those snakes in the grass will slither to the media with more crap about Mariah in the future but I'm not here for it. The Mariah we have today, the voice going from strength to strength, the interviews being inciting, her confidence blossoming, giving the lambs what they want with those snippets. It's really a return to a place I thought we wouldn't see again. The last time I truly was happy with Mariah in that she seemed happy with herself but not in a egotistical way was back in 2005, the success of TEOM and that comeback I think went to her head and she slowly derailed from there until rock bottom at NYE. Honestly I don't care whether she did or didn't. That's not my business. However i'm struggling with feeling 100% sorry for Mariah. She allowed this to happen even though people tried to warn her from the very beginning. I agree that we all make mistakes and Mariah is no exception, but there were signs that she ignored for too long. I refuse to believe that Mariah was that oblivious and naive that she didn't see some of these signs early on. I also don't believe she was drunk or in a manic state the whole time either. And I have noticed that more and more articles and reviews seem to be written by lambs in the last few years because Mariah has achieved that level of longevity where people finally acknowledge her impact and greatness. Last pop album (89,875) by Gee from U.S.A. (New York City) Obviously MC does not want to make a pop album because if she wanted to she would have. She worked with all relevant pop/urban producers and still created a great R&B album that is current but classic Mariah all at the same time. I feel that we should allow Mariah to make the music that she wants to create and enjoy what we like and skip over the music that we don’t like because honestly speaking she has already made history and she is still the benchmark three decades later. I don't think Mariah will be nominated in any of the general fields but if she is it will be the Academy making up for past snubs. Both albums were deserving.
