FYI, after seeing Mariah perform Carole King contacted Mariah asking her if she would be interested in covering (You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman, a song she had written alongside Gerry Goffin for Aretha Franklin and Mariah politely declined feeling uneasy about covering a song one of her musical influences executed so perfectly. I missed VOL when I went to the show back in May 2015. It started right at 8 PM. I'm not sure how it is for the second residency but I'd say if it starts late, it's around 15-30 minutes max. Pre-releasing tracks (83,376) by Tyler from USA It seems like the trend is for artist to release 3-4 tracks before the album is released. Artist such as Tamia, Ariana, Christina have all done this. While this may add anticipation to the record's release, I really hope MC doesn't follow the trend. I want to listen to the record as a body of work not a album of full singles. I remember not listening to the leak tracks when TEOM was released for this purpose. I really feel as if MC's going to tell a story with this album ranging from her honestly being bi-polar, losing love (James) and finally being in a great place. Cancelling of overseas tour dates (83,369) by Angel from USA Sorry to hear the cancelling of the tour in your area if you bought tickets and made travelling arrangements, lambs. I think that the reason that she cancelled was because the label is probably putting some fire under her to release this "new album". I feel that her team should have thought the tour dates and cities or countries, carefully and strategically. Maybe Mimi wrote aggressive music, just so she can sign it over to Stelly Stel and tell her off in the same motion. All of this is like trump firing Omarosa, then acting surprised that's low life reality star would stab him in the back. But he hired her. As far as the cancellation I believe that this is more about finishing the album and getting promotion in order because as of late she has been surrounded by Roc Nation and label people so I believe that they are planning something and we are not far away from hearing the first offering from the new album. Cancelling Oz (83,361) by Nikki from usa I'm surprised it took this long, but I originally thought she "rescheduled" this tour for so late in the year because she planned on cancelling it a few months later. The whole thing was created by Stella, so I was assuming she was waiting for it to be legally clear before opting out. Although, we might hear more from Stella now that this has been cancelled. I know many people might assume she just wasn't selling well, but the fact it wasn't even promoted suggests she had no intention of doing it. In any case, most of Mariah's concerts don't sell out 2 months in advance, so whatever "refunds" need to be given back shouldn't be in large quantities. I think it's being cancelled too soon to cite bad ticket sales as the culprit. I'd prefer a new album, but I'm not expecting Mariah to chart. She'll just have more material for her next tour. Then, maybe she'll do it with some energy because the music is new. (Monday 13 August 2018; 15:29)

Recording songs that are aggressive is the mindset she is going to need for a competitive fall music lineup starting in October. Whatever happened to the song they finished August of 2015 that Diane Warren tweeted about? And that reminds me, didn't Mariah tweet a picture of she, JD and Cristyle in the studio back in 2016 working on a new song? Will that song and the Busta Rhymes song come 2017 be considered for the new album? MC15 is coming this year. (Monday 13 August 2018; 01:12)

Album title (83,358) by Gee from U.S.A. (New York City) This new album is a very important album for M as she is at a critical point of her career. This era will answer so many questions that fans and critics have. But I believe that we are in for some great things that many people are not expecting. As for an actual album title I feel it has to be something that grabs the attention of fans, casual listeners and critics alike. If it is a one word title it has be something strong, if she decides to use more than one word it has to pop out but not be something weird or unrelatable.
