Re: Caution next single should be? (86,212) (86,217) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter
"Stay Long Love You" (I love the song, it's very catchy and Gunna apparently is huge on streaming scores so that's always a plus), "A No No" (we cannot have a "Migrate" injustice repeat), or "Giving Me Life" (but I don't know if Mariah intends for it to be a single because in one of the interviews she was saying something along the lines of this song not trying to be a single or anything).

Probably because of Dev Hynes'/Blood Orange's massive guitar solo.

Copyriah (86,215) by Kevyn from Germany
Mariah sampled Schwesta Ewa's song "Tunneln und so" for "A No No".

Thanks. Runway is a total gem.

Giving Me Life (86,213) by Bill from the UK
The more time I spend with this album, the more this song creeps up in my ranking. One Mo Gen and The Distance are still at the top, but I agree with all of you that are praising this song. It has such a dark, moody atmosphere. It really puts me in mind of how I felt about The Roof when I first heard it. I'm also really enjoying Stay Long Love You. I had pretty low expectations for this release but I'm really happy that she's delivered what I feel is a concise, coherent album sung in her true voice without MIAM levels of manipulation. I love how the lower register has been brought to the forefront and the upper harmonies are in the background, as previously it was always the other way round. A solid effort and I really do wish her the best for this project and era, as the poor dear's been through a lot these past few years.

Caution next single should be? (86,212) by Sheila from United States
8th Grade or Giving Me life.

Spotify (86,211) by Lara from Middle East
Can someone explain a bit how streaming counts for sales predictions? Spotify has been available in our country since 3 days only (just in time for her album). I've put her album on shuffle play.

The recent interviews (86,210) by Licia from USA
I've been watching some of her radio interviews for the Caution release and I have to say I love them. We are getting funny and intelligent Mariah and not that ditzy diva b*tch (whom I find funny at times, but that persona can get overplayed). I'm glad she either figured out or someone helped her to see she's awesome to watch without all that extra crap. I was crying laughing on the part of the TRL interview where Sway highlighted some of her appearances. She was so scared thinking they were going to show that popsicle episode. I applaud her for making a joke of it and handling it so well because I would have fake fainted before they started playing the package.

Caution album (86,208) by Bobby A from United States
This album gets better with every listen. I think the albums really kicks in after A No No. A real slow jam quiet storm type of feel to Caution. 8th Grade makes wonder why in the heck did it take 20 something years for MC to get a Timbaland track on her album. If there is a Part 2 next March, will it be 10 brand new tracks or a deluxe edition with additional tracks? I am anxious to hear those aggressive tracks JD spoke about and any additional Timbaland, No ID, and Poo Bear tracks. I really hate when Portrait concludes with a such soft climax. It leaves me wanting more from Caution.

Re: The other 6 songs (86,201) (86,207) by IheartMC from USA
I agree with you. I loveeeee the song Caution due to the simplicity of the lyrics and melody. Mariah tends to use too many words sometimes for her songs. I also love that but some songs are meant to be repetitive when the hook is so on point. Giving Me Life is also another gem that is on constant replay.

I'm also loving Caution, the song and the album, lol.

Predictions for first-week sales of Caution are in (86,205) by B from USA
We can send Caution to #1 if we would all work together and play our parts by buying the album and streaming it ad naseum.

Right? This song is epic. Easily my favourite off Caution from the first listen.

Giving Me Life (86,203) by Bobby A from United States
Why does Blood Orange receive a feature credit? Is that one of his requirements as a producer to get a feature credit? He has the same feature credit on John Legend's latest song. The title slips my mind right now.

I am begging Mariah to do a lengthy mini movie music video. Dark visuals. It has to happen. This is her best song in years.

The other 6 songs (86,201) by Deedre aka MiTodoChop @HBF from Canada
I love Caution and Portrait. I know some of you feel Caution is generic. I just find the song to be very sexy without being overly sexual. I love how the lyrics fall fast to the rhythm of the music and she references the north star which is significant to me.

I'm all for atmospheric and moody tracks as a rule, but I'm just not feeling Giving Me Life at all. I'm glad so many of you like it, but I find the background instrumentation in the song incredibly distracting and jarring to her vocals. Especially since I love her lower register. Slipping Away is one of my favorite songs but Giving Me Life doesn't do it for me. Maybe it's a grower and I'll like it later, but right now it's not my thing.

OMG doesn't really grab me either I wish it did. Sigh. I like 8th Grade though. Stay Long Love You reminds me of when she did "U Make Me Wanna". Not a song I would have ever bought on own, but it has a way of getting stuck in your head

Re: 8th grade (86,199) (86,200) by B from USA
I was pleasantly surprised by 8th Grade after being underwhelmed by their first collaboration Skydiving. I hope she works with him again and continues to experiment with her sound.

8th grade (86,199) by Gee from U.S.A. (New York City)
I dropped out of school after jk but all jokes aside this song is one of the best songs MC has ever done. The breakdown is amazing. Her and Timbaland together created an amazing song. I would not mind them working together on more material because they really out did themselves with this one. I have to say I been playing this album nonstop and I love it more and more with each listen. MC definitely gave me an early Christmas gift with this new album.

Giving Me Life (86,198) by Special K from USA
Wooooo. Wow. Whoa. This song is on a whole another level. I can't even know what to say. That song is straight boss, genius. And then she got Slick Rick, the Hip Hop God on that joint. Oh my goodness. This is my song straight up. Mariah has got to do an epic, and I mean epic video for this song.

Thank goodness you removed that hideous avatar. I love (all caps) "One Mo 'Gen" it was instantly a favorite with the first listen like GTFO.

You with all the money you've made from this website need to buy 50 copies. And send me one while you are at it. Ps: I want the Japanese version.

Re: Robert Anthony (86,105) (86,195) by Terna from Nigeria
I totally get you it fell flat for me as the title seemed so mysterious. I was expecting a Mariahesque slow jam or ballad instead of this repetitive annoying sound she's making on this record. Anyway "Runway" totally made up for that misstep.

Caution (86,193) by B from USA
Caution has the same jittery R&B vibe that made Destiny's Child biggest hits so potent.
