A no no (85,342) by S from England Have you guys heard this new leaked track? It's absolutely awesome. I haven't commented here for years but feel so energised by her new work ethic and amazing tone. It's like she's developed this new tone around her current vocal state and it's really working for her. I wonder if she worked with a coach. Here's to hoping she can get that extra no. 1. Four of them we have already heard. I want an element of surprise for the other 6 songs. Surely there will be a Target Exclusive with 5 extra songs since Barnes and Nobles booksellers has an exclusive blue vinyl. Mariah in Manila (85,340) by this_is_qhm from the Philippines So I'm still quite bummed I wasn't able to watch Mariah in my own country, but I'm just so glad my fellow Pinoy lambs represented us so well. That's how you treat a queen. You set aside all the rumors, bullcrap or disappointment you had with her in the past (there's a cruel, untrue rumor that Mariah uttered some supposedly racist remarks way back in the 90s towards a Filipino singer that always gets dredged back up every time she comes to our country thanks to some misguided haters, but whatever) and cheer for even the less impressive vocal runs and notes, even if some of them aren't live. You collectively chant her name during breaks. Your energy level never lets up even until the last song. I'm so proud of both Mariah and my fellow Filipino fans who were there last night. From the fan clips, you could just tell Mariah was feeding off of their enthusiasm and energy. I hope that more than made up for the horrible Manila traffic she got stuck in earlier. Not to put the US fans in a bad light, but I believe this is further proof why Mariah somehow performs better in foreign countries in general. There's less judgment, more appreciation from fans who are just so aware that this woman only comes to their country once in a while, and they're just grateful she even decided to stop by. I was just stating that when Mariah does an homage to Marilyn tastefully like she did in the videos for I Still Believe, Don't Forget About Us, and With You it works. A No No / LE vinyl (85,329) by Will from England Well, looks like a new song was leaked this morning called "A No No". From what lambs have said it's a good track, so looking forward to hearing it. Mariah's team has already pulled it from the web. And it looks like the team may have made the first booboo in releasing the album, I've seen a lot of fans saying that their order for the LE edition version of the album has been cancelled for no reason, and apparently the price went up. "I Still Believe" was definitely a great example of that, but latching onto Marilyn's personality to create this dumb bigger than life diva persona hasn't worked for Mariah, it's done more bad than good to her career, and it's not Marilyn's fault. Marilyn didn't try to be sexy and glamorous, she didn't have to push it, she just was. When Mariah released Honey, she was sexy without pushing it, she was stunningly sexy on "Breakdown", that was the beauty of it, but that had to do with her unassuming personality. Yes, she was filthy rich, but she was humble. I hope she puts her Marilyn costume right there with the piano she owns and keeps on being more relatable. So far, this era is going as planned. It's been a long long time since any of her songs make me sing along, GTFO and "With You" have accomplished that, not even #Beautiful. So far, I'm satisfied with the three songs I've heard, not looking for perfection here, just consistent good music. At this point I don't know what has causing Mariah's voice to deteriorate so rapidly, I hope she does something about it because, if she can, she's struggling with songs that are supposed to be easy for her to sing live. From 3:13 to 3:18, if you have a wig, a weave, a toupee, suspicious hair plugs or some kid of hairpiece and still make it through with them still on after listening, then you're not human. They can't ship physical copies of an album the same day of the release because people wouldn't get it on time and that would defeat the purpose or per-ordering it. During mass production of these CD's, there's always somebody who ends up with a copy of the album. Even in the past it was that way, but those who got their hands on a physical copy couldn't spread it around like nowadays. I got access to "Sweetener" and many other albums two weeks before, so Caution won't be an exception. With Caution though, I'll wait for my physical copy and listen to it accordingly. Enough with the snippets, Mariah, three songs are already enough. Then a week before release reveal the name of the tracks and let us die little by little till you kill us on November 16.
