Caution album (85,811) by Bobby A from United States I have a strong feeling that just 10 tracks was the plan for the CD created at the end of August. I feel she and her team realized that all of the songs MC recorded were just too good to put all on one CD. So, my theory is that we are getting Caution on 11/16 and Caution 2 of 2 in March 2019. I think Jay Z and MC looked at Justin Timberlake's 20/20 Experience as a model to plan the rollout of Caution. Next week, we will have the Genius interview and The Mariah Experience. Didn't JT do week long interviews and performances and fan special surprises when 20/20 Experience came out? Didn't JT drop a couple singles and promo singles before 20/20 Experience was released? His Grammy performance that year was hyped up just like MC's AMA performance With You. 20/20 Experience 2 of 2 came out at the height of his World Tour. Caution is going to be a hit this time for MC. Did I Do That? / There For Me (85,810) by this_is_qhm from the Philippines I gotta admit that Did I Do That took a really long time for me to appreciate. The melody is too slight and the guy yelling in the background is one of the most annoying parts to make it on a Mariah song ever. But I do appreciate it because it is pretty much Mariah's first diss song. She probably fought for it to be on the album, along with CTTA and Petals. It was an important track for her because it allowed her to vent her frustrations, plus it was her middle finger to Columbia and Tommy. I would still rather have it on the album than the very meh There For Me. If that made the album, it would have been the most dated-sounding cut on it. Compare it to the other ballads and you'd hear why it was left out. It just wasn't modern enough. Rainbow was released in 1999 - Latin, bubblegum and urban were pop those days, and There For Me, which sounds like an 80s throwback, would have been out of place in a rather very urban contemporary R&B album. My All in Borobudur (85,809) by Edouard from France It's incredible. Mariah sings a shortened version. I believe she can more easily catch her breath and gives us stronger vocals. Re: Rainbow cover (85,805) (85,808) by Bill from the UK I love the album cover. Other than Merry Christmas, all her album covers are at the darker end of the spectrum so Rainbow really stands out. Tai girls of course with the cute ensemble and the colours. To straight guys because she looks so young (even though she's already 29) and hot on the cover. And to gay guys I guess because of the colour theme and the "let's be who you are" whole approach. I remember being 15 going on 16 at the time and I was mesmerized. And I'm a straight guy. After the performance, the host asked her what she would like to get if she shopped online in China. She said she would like to get a toy panda for her twins, or a real one if possible. Caution (85,797) by Jhonny from Canada My views on Caution singles so far. GTFO a good song. I must say Mariah looks very beautiful in the video. I wish the video had a storyline and not only focusing on her alone. With You a beautiful song and video. I missed Mariah's big vocals on this song, maybe a WBT ending.The Distance is a very good song, sounds modern and loves the music. A No No my favorite so far, great lyrics and good sound. I really hope she did a video for this song and with a good story line maybe with someone famous like WBT video or It's Like That video. So far I am not disappointed with the songs we heard. The lyrics are meaningful, but the song is boring and kind of sung without soul. This is not the case with "Right To Dream" which she sings like she means it, with soul. I really feel that The Distance is going entice the masses to buy Caution. Target tweeted this week that there will not be a Target Exclusive. I am still hoping for something extra for U.S. Lambs.
