Re: The Voice (85,233) (85,240) by RibbonB from USA
I think She did do that. I'm just glad she's not involved with The Four. That show is such a dud. Is it cancelled yet? Or is I on hiatus like Cassie?

Re: Mariah Carey dragged into Da Brat's bankruptcy case (85,234) (85,239) by RibbonB from USA
I don't, as that would be a colossal mistake. Mimi seems to be having her own financial woes, with constant touring, salaries to pay, etc. Brat should never have bragged on other's bag, as in saying publicly that she could get either Mimi or JD to pay her debt. JD has had his own tax problems. Brat should do the right thing and create a payment plan to support her victim for the rest of her life. Or maybe they should do a reality show together to generate funds.

Re: World tour (85,199) (85,238) by Timothy from USA
Very good point webmaster and just when I thought it was putting the cart before the horse I see that this is one more very well played strategy by Roc Nation to ensure a more successful era.

Re: ? (85,192) (85,237) by Timothy from USA
Agreed. Some of these posts are pathetic. Cynical for cynical sake. If you consistently spend time and energy on something or someone you have such dislike for, it says way more about your life than the topic you are discussing. Take the perpetual negativity somewhere else. The world is negative enough as it is at the moment. This board should be a break from the vitriol.

I wish she was on Kelly's team though. Would have loved to see Kelly fan girling over her. Hope they get to interact. Never really followed that show except for YouTube clips so I don't know how that works.

Re: Limited edition of Caution (85,229) (85,235) by Bobby A from United States
The limited deluxe edition of Caution explains why there is a standard 10-track edition on Amazon listed for 7.99. The standard edition is for the general curious buying public while the limited deluxe edition with extra tracks will be for the Lambily. We probably won't get a Target Exclusive now since there is an limited deluxe edition. When the tracklisting is revealed, I think we all will be pleased.

Mariah Carey dragged into Da Brat's bankruptcy case (85,234) by B from USA
Does anyone else think Mariah will help Da Brat by paying this off for her?

Re: The Voice (85,227) (85,233) by Licia from USA
Now it makes a lot more sense as to why she's doing it. I wish she would have just been a mentor on Idol. Maybe it would have hone better. Didn't they have her mentor once on Idol? Like way before she agreed to be a judge ?

Brat bankruptcy (85,232) by RibbonB from USA
Now dragging Mimi and JD in is a stretch and I hope is not allowed. Brat is the only one responsible for that debt. Yikes.

The Voice (85,231) by this_is_qhm from the Philippines
Now we know she and her team ain't playin'. Knowing how much of a sinking ship AI was back then, I have always wanted her to be on The Voice instead because of their more mentoring-focused approach to a singing competition show. I for sure thought that her AI stint burned her enough not to consider doing any singing reality shows in the future, but then I guess I still don't have her exactly figured out after all these years of predictability. Hope she's one of those advisors who actually demonstrates by singing, and not just one of those who just listen and nod or give generic critiques. It's a chance for her to show she can still wow with her voice. It's a great platform for promotion, and while hype for the show has fizzled out a bit these days, a lot of people, especially from the younger demographic, still watch it. Plus her parts as an advisor aren't live, so should there be any unnecessary rambling, it'd be cut out. Nice work, team.

The Voice (85,230) by Myles from CT, USA
I am excited for the exposure and I hope the softer and professional side of her shines through. Never cared for this show because it really never made a career out of any of the winners. Love Kelly though.

Limited edition of Caution (85,229) by B from USA
Mariah's releasing a limited edition of Caution with an alternative cover. Does anyone know if it features any additional songs?

Re: The Voice (85,222) (85,227) by RibbonB from USA
You only see the vocal mentors briefly, it's not a major appearance. But it can be memorable if done right. Too bad Idol went left for her, but this will make be her ten or twenty minutes on air, in a prominent show.

Re: Big news (85,223) (85,226) by Licia from USA
The CB tour was the very first time I ever saw her live. That's another reason why CB holds a special place in my heart. I would have loved that tour on DVD because everything was on point from the vocals to the wardrobe. I totally get what you're saying. There's been many songs from her other albums that I haven't listened to in years, but the fan made acapellas and remixes are making me revisit songs I thought I hated. I'm glad you're enjoying CB again.

Re: Big news (85,223) (85,225) by Bill from the UK
I was listening to CB too and also thought of our dear Licia. I did of course skip Boy (I Need You), and I do get a bit bored by chorus 157 of Lullaby, but otherwise, a nice album to go back to from time to time.

Re: MC on The Voice (85,221) (85,224) by Deedre aka MiTodoChop @HBF from Canada
I actually really enjoy The Voice because the focus stays on mentoring. While it is a completion show it doesn't rely on gimmicks, embarrassment or shock value. It has managed to stay about music which I appreciate. Good move team Mariah. Nice way to have her in front of a large audience.

Licia did you get to see her on the Charmbracelet tour? It was a good one. She really did sound amazing during it. A shame there's no DVD or BluRay. Ok, I'm going to admit something, I've been listening to that album more lately. I feel like every few years things can sound different, mostly you hear and feel differently. I've been getting a warm quality to that album that feels almost cozy. Anywho You Got Me popped in my head so I'll listen to it in the car later. For now I'll put on Shining Through The Rain.

Re: The Voice (85,220) (85,222) by Licia from USA
I'm really surprised by this, but I wish her the best. Hopefully this will be a better experience. I've never watched the show. I'm probably just going to watch the YouTube videos. Lol. Team Mariah is on it. They are keeping her booked and the money flowing, but it's not from stupid sh*t and their number one focus is music.

Re: MC on The Voice (85,218) (85,221) by enwar00 from usa
That's pretty cool. I haven't watched the show regularly since the first season when it was fresh and new, but I'll definitely watch the episodes with Mariah.

Re: The Voice (85,219) (85,220) by RibbonB from USA
That's great. I think they only appear briefly, but still cool. I hope she gives good input to the vocalists. I like Kelley Clarkson's team better, but it will be interesting to see her interact with JHud's group too.

Agree. Madonna and Lady Gaga have been living from tours because their music don't sell as before and don't have super hits no longer.

It has something that makes me press the repeat too. At the end I can even hear "Daydream-MC" for a few seconds and I love it. From all three new songs this is my favorite.
