I will have to respectfully disagree with you. Tommy Mattola whole agenda was to create an image and someone who he could control and that became stifling personally as well as professionally. If you had someone dictating your every move day in and day out at some point you would need to get away and find a piece of mind. Both Mariah and Tommy benefited from each other during their time together I will say that but he just became overbearing. As far people in her life Trey has stayed around longest but Maryanne has been there since Butterfly, Brat has been around since Daydream, she's still friends with Josefine, her nephew Shawn is still very much in her corner and I know even though we do not see her in plain sight all the time Mama Pat is very much apart of her daughters life. Also Ms Patti said she speaks with MC at least twice a month. On another note every high profile entertainer has horror stories about people coming in and out of their lives not just MC.

Re: The chasm (81,800) (81,827) by T from USA
Well in the latest pictures she's still wearing the "engagement ring". I'm not sure anything will really change. I hope I'm wrong because if she still acts the same way she has in the last few years (illness or no illness) people are going to give up on her once and for all. She has to basically go back to her Musicbox, Daydream personality, which was heavily contrived and controlled but it was very acceptable in the public eye. Hopefully the truth she's bared will give her the comfort to just be humble and nice again. On the other hand if she's not sticking with her treatment in the future she may accidentally slip back into her erratic behavior. It explains Daydream's Grammy fight night and the wild bursts with Tommy. I'm sure Tommy's control and stressful behavior didn't help and probably set off her condition but if she wasn't prone to Bipolar in the first place there may be a chance the two of them would still be married to this day. She fled to save her sanity. But was it her sanity that was getting in the way in the first place? She hasn't been able to have long lasting relationships at all. Be it family or friends. I remember when it was said she kicked her long serving manager out of a moving car. The longest relationship I can gather is her and Trey Lorenz. I would love to hear what he has to say and how he has maintained himself on Mariah's good side.

Bill now you know people would rather it be about Nick. Now had she wrote a song called You Got a Big Ducking Mouth, that I'd believe was about him.

You're not paying attention to the actual lyrics. She flat out ignores this silly man. But Obsessed is more his song lyric. He's delusional and confused. "She's a press conference, he's a conversation."

It was on Instagram, so basically. It's about to get wacky. Wackier, rather.

Re: Wendy (81,809) (81,823) by Shezz from Pk
Very shocking indeed. She talks about every useless tabloid article about her and does not discuss this major news that came straight from Mariah herself. If she wanted to she could easily have put her negative Wendy spin on it like some other people did.

Lol yes from it I think. A silly mess.

"Is he doing it from his garage?" Lol. If it's true that he's doing a press conference than that's so ridiculous. Poor wannabe celebrity.

Re: New memoirs? (81,817) (81,820) by Licia from USA
The only problem I have with getting a memoir from Mariah is that it may turn into a fairytale. I don't expect her to get too gritty, but I don't want it to be a watered down story either. Tell us something that you haven't shared with us a million times before. Even with her now being able to speak about her illness publicly, I don't think she's fully at a point where she'll talk about certain things.

Re: Is it a new day? (81,806) (81,819) by MusicfanJ from Germany
Special K. I would love to see you kicking Morgan. Haha. Honestly Mariah's siblings are so terrible. Mariah should stay away from them, they sold her out for money. That's heartless, pathetic and inexcusable. It's true Mariah never said anything bad about them. She kept her pain private. She helped more than she had to. With siblings like them, I'm happy that I've grown up as an only child. If Mariah can ban all fake people and "energy vampires" she will feel fantastic. I believe good times are to come. And if she's really working with her heart and soul on new music it will be a new masterpiece.

This is why I say to everybody time and time again that Thirsty is about Damizza and not Nick.

Re: New memoirs? (81,814) (81,817) by Billy from Greece
Most divas, including Diana Ross, Chaka Khan, Donna Summer and others published a memoirs around their thirtieth anniversary in the business. Toni Braxton has already released one a couple of years ago. This is something that back in the Charmbracelet era Mariah mentioned as well when she was responding to fan questions, but said it was not time yet. This is a fine moment for a memoirs and carving a new phase in her career.

I want to know who gave him a platform for a press conference? Is he doing it from his garage? If she is doing all this for attention why is it bothering him? I have so many questions.

Ha ha Special K, I was waiting for you to say something. Poor Tanaka got the short end of the stick this birthday with the People article breaking on his day. Those pictures were nice candids of them though. Happy b-lated to Tanaka.

New memoirs? (81,814) by RibbonB from USA
Page Six is saying Mimi is now ready to write her memoirs. This probably won't be good. I'm sensing contrived at the moment. Love Mimi though and always wishing her the best.

I agree with Special K. I remember a time when they were closer than close so I know she's paid him back for everything he's done. To make it seem like he had a right to out her in the way he did because of what he did to help her is bullsh*t.

Incoming (81,808) by RibbonB from USA
"Damizzerable" Damizza is having a press conference today at 7:00. He accuses her of doing this for the attention to sell records. He like Morgan keeps popping up for money and attention.

Re: Is it a new day? (81,801) (81,806) by Special K from USA
Yeah I wasn't shocked at all by the news. The signs have been there for years and I feel you 100% about Morgan. For whatever reasons he and Mariah fell out. Once the checks stopped coming he turned on Mariah and went by the Allison Carey playbook of going to the press. What an asshole. Can you imagine having siblings like that? Gotta give Mariah some credit though. She has never spoken negative in public about either sibling. Not that I'm aware of.

Morgan (81,805) by Gee from U.S.A. (New York City)
Let's be honest Morgan is what I consider to be a bottom feeder he has no interest in his sisters wellbeing his only motive is to embarrass MC and gain financial assistance while doing so. If you notice every few months he and Allison pull the same stunt yet Allison's own son does not deal with her but adores Mariah.

Cautiously optimistic (81,804) by Stacey from USA
I think Edward echos a lot of what many of us are feeling, even good ole Andrew as well. We are all cautiously optimistic. After the 2001 breakdown and lackluster sales of CB, MC put out TEOM, something so good, radio had to play it. Here's hoping she gets back to making good music. Cautiously optimistic.
