Re: All I Want For Christmas live at St John 1994 (79,981) (79,983) by 123 from USA
Hi Alicia, I don't play the original anymore but I do love the JD remix. New vocals and a change in the arrangement. It's a bop and a nice break from getting worn out from the original classic. Not many people know about it but lambs. When I play it people are like, is that new? Lol.

I've been streaming every day, lets get that song to #1.

Maybe Tommy and the record company thought they wouldn't make any money from releasing this. Who knows? No I was not spared from it. My coworker was playing her Christmas playlist on Pandora. Guess what I heard three times before I just walked out the room? I don't hate the song, I'm just worn out from it. It's seems like it's been played a lot in 2017. It's been excessive. I get excited when they play other songs from both the Christmas albums.

Stacey, how sweet that your kid is singing to it. Good taste. I noticed that a lot of kids do like MC.

Mariah's 28th top 10 stream stream (79,979) by Sheila from United States
Lambs this streaming shows you the power of the lambs. This week if we all stream 1-8 times, Mariah will be Number 1. #9 is a magical number. It can be done.

Licia, I had the same thought a few months ago. When the greatest ones are gone the record companies only have money on their mind. The should release it next year and all the other fan favorites. I wonder as well why Tommy or Columbia didn't release the concert long time ago. The same with the unreleased material. The lambily are waiting. By the way Licia, I heard AIWFCIY yesterday while shopping, on the Christmas market and later on the radio. I hope you got spared from it. Haha. "Santa Clause is coming to town" is on heavy rotation too. Isn't it nice?

Miss You Most in Vegas (79,977) by Shezz from Pk
Did anybody catch that little snippet of Miss You Most she sang at one of the Vegas shows? It was so annoyingly short. I suppose the big belts are beyond her capacity now but then she does lip some parts of the other songs - it would be sooo good to have her add it to the christmas list. She said something like she cant do this one now but you can catch it on her movie - maybe a plug?

Making history (79,975) by this_is_qhm from the Philippines
Cher had a #1 hit at 53 with Believe. Michael hit #9 posthumously with Love Never Felt So Good. Madonna had her historic 38th top 10 entry with Gimme All Your Luvin'. And now, we can add AIWFCIY to that list of remarkable achievements. It only took 23 years. Not like Mariah needed this to happen to cement her legendary status - she was already a legend before she even hit 30 - but I mean come on. Congrats to Mariah for the most wonderful news we've heard in a long while. Hope it goes even higher next week. Or at least still stay in the top 10. Such a sad time for them haters who aren't too thrilled with an older song charting among the current top hits. (Yes, these people exist.)

My four year old sings along to it too. You should hear him say "you". It's hillarious. Happy day for MC indeed. Such a timeless classic.

As a lamb of the more recent era it is beyond exciting to celebrate this with all of you guys and Mariah. Congrats MC, congrats Lambily. Big hug to you all.

That's a great idea and I buy it. The crazy thing is that no one will think of releasing any of this until after she's no longer walking the earth to fill their pockets. I don't know if I'd want to buy it then.

Look. There is archive footage buried somewhere. It’s a crime it is not released. Just re-issue the album and slap on the St John Divine concert as a DVD extra.

No matter what I am so happy the song has the impact it does a genuine Christmas classic that people wait for as part of celebrating and creating the moments in life to treasure. After all the junk of late I am so happy for her. So deserved Mariah.

Mariah's 28th top 10 stream stream (79,967) by Sheila from United States
Hey lambs, when you're home on free wifi, just keep the song on repeat and let it play play play. This is huge for her. If she ties The Beatles you could imagine.

It actually went to number one in Norway, this year. If it can reach the top here, it can do it anywhere.

"An update for my lambs in Australia and New Zealand. I have exciting news for you. We're now planning a much bigger tour in 2018. Because of this we're moving the Australia/NZ dates a few months to October. I'll be kicking off my tour with you then and can't wait to see you all." This sounds exciting except a few months isn't February-October. Lol that's like half a year. Hopefully she makes some stops in the U.S. and lots of other places. Could this be a Butterfly20 world tour?

AIWFCIY (79,964) by B from USA
Mariah's legacy is still intact. She scored a top 10 hit, her first since 2009, with a song she released in 1994. This is epic for Mariah and for us. Lets keep streaming it. I honestly believe this song will reach #1 one day.

Mariah’s 28th top 10 (79,963) by darrian liu from taiwan
Lambs, this is not a drill. I repeat, this is not a drill. Our Mimi has scored another top 10 and I'm so happy for her. Now onto our next goal: a top 5 placement. One step at a time towards our ultimate destination: 19th no. 1. However, I'm not sure if AIWFCIY can do that in 2018, as there will be a Billboard rule change that weighs paid streams more than free streams. Just keep on going, lambs, we can do this.

Well as tired as I am of hearing the song I'm happy for her. I'll never deny that she wrote a hell of a song and she deserves whatever accolades she receives from it.

That's would have been an awesome DVD. I'm surprised old Tommy or the record label didn't try to capitalize off this.

Another top 10 (79,960) by Gee from U.S.A. (New York City)
Just when you think Mariah is on her way to being finished she always find a way to bounce back. To see a song like AIWFCIY still have legs over twenty years later just shows all of us that Mariah is still one of the best to ever do this music thing. I believe Mariah still has the goods to be great in the music game something tells me, we are in store for some goodies by way of Mariah in this new year and beyond.
