Album cover (109,956) by Dove from United States
I just got an email to preorder the new album and there's an alternate cover. I don't like it. She looks like a robot and her face looks weird. I like the original one much better. I would just pan it out a bit so that the top of her head and her waist showed. But her face looks more relaxed and pretty in the original. It looks easy breezy. Sorry to be negative.

Also, I'll probably buy the mp3 on Amazon but wait a year until I buy the physical CD because by then it'll probably have the max amount of tracks included. Unless Amazon still does AutoRip, then I'll just do that. I know they're available on Spotify but I like having them in my digital library in case they ever get removed. (Like the movie Glitter did. I should have bought a digital copy when it was available. )

D2C cover (109,955) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter
Unpopular opinion but I think I like this one the best hahah. Don't get me wrong, it's not perfect, I do not like the outfit much because it's not cover worthy, but I comparatively like this one the most as it's the most cover worthy. The first one I already expressed my views, the second was very Celine Dion (no shade to Celine), very dated and I just didn't think she stood out in the album. This one she's front and center and ready to choose violence. Staring right down at her hater. What I would change about it - I think she would have looked absolutely stunning doing the makeup she did for TDang in the Britney like scene with the dancers and probably choose another outfit no diamond necklace. But still the third cover is by far the best in this series.

Sigh. The iconic Daydream pose with 2025 plastic surgery enchantments are not it. Not shaming her decision to alter her appearance, I get it, she wants to be sexy and beautiful fine, but it's cringe to see her recycle such iconography and not modernize her look for a new album. I much prefer the Amazon album cover with full body pose so much - grown but still sexy and something new.

Why do you bring so much bad vibes to the table?

"He doesn't need to change a damn thing", sadly he did though. He's gotten significantly better at proof-reading and editing. It's actually amazing. He allowed Libra Lamb to be posted again only when she expressed how being silenced is the reason why she doesn't come anymore. Her being posted is Eric's response to that, that strike a chord within him so yeah, "he's gotten more fair" is the correct assessment. It's not a bad thing to improve. It brought back a lamb so he clearly did something right.

I really don't think anyone ever had to be silenced because of you, Stacey. Honestly you kind of just echo and applause Eric's post all the time it's actually entertaining. Do you actually ever have an original thought? Genuinely curious.

I don't think you fully understood the context. I said, "What's your excuse? Someone was mean so you quit?" Limbra Lamb was like, "No I didn't quit, my messages stopped getting posted." She's expressed her disdain about being silenced but for what ever reason, she is getting posted again so that should be celebrated. A lamb has been redeemed.

Brad obviously falls in the category of "bitter" lambs but not necessarily "silenced" lambs. I can see why you correlate them though but no totally disconnected. I probably should've added spaces on the paragraphs. I have no idea how Brad landed to bitterness. Frankly have zero time to look at his post history but we wish him well, he seemed very insightful. Hopefully he returns.

That would be so cool. I love this song. I always have to think of the scene with Jennifer Lawrence in "American Hustle". So much fun. I can't wait to hear Mariah's version. I so deeply wanted a cover and now we get a Paul McCartney song. Great news.

Amen. Well said. None of us "characters" have any kind of "in" with the webmaster. I have a few MC CDs listed in his discography but that's my only connection. I've had posts edited and/or not posted many times. Folks just need to stop feeling like it's their duty to set others straight, to reprimand. I'd be rich too if I got paid for everytime an insult is thrown my way. It's laughable how many times me being a teacher has been made fun of. Honestly, just stop. Enjoy the conversation. It ain't that deep, lol.

Eric's been fair with everyone on this board, consistently. That's basically the board's unofficial consensus since dial-up days. He doesn't need to change a damn thing. The man's been moderating like a pro for over two decades, longer than some of you have been out of high school.

If it were up to a few people here with their "cancel everything that mildly annoys me" attitude, this board would've been nuked years ago. So shout out to Eric for keeping this circus running smoothly.

Apparently, the cover Mariah will do of Paul McCartney’s song is "Live and Let Die". In several cities, ads featuring parts of song lyrics or the names of the tracks are being displayed.

Nobody said anything negative to Brad, except Victoria, who implied the board was full of "hating ass hoes". I guess she included herself in the mix, minus the "hating" and "ass" parts. Some people just love to stir the pot and make things up. Brad made a vague comment about the board, but nothing specific. It was weird because, as you said, we were all just joking around about album titles and having a good time. The vibe was light.

Looking at his recent posts, it's pretty clear Brad hasn't been happy with anything Mariah-related lately, which is totally fine. The problem is, when he chose to leave, he acted like this place was some toxic nightmare and he just couldn't deal anymore. That doesn't make sense, especially when most folks here actually liked "Type Dangerous" and the video.

Many love playing the victim and throwing digital tantrums, they start acting like they're here to reprimand others, which is just ridiculous. We've got positive folks, critical folks, and everyone in between, but we've all been part of this board for a long time. Brad completely trashed "Type Dangerous", can you imagine if I had gone off on him for not liking it? It'd be absurd.

Time to stop being so damn sensitive, it ain't that serious. This board is going to keep being what it is. If I had a penny for every time someone complained about a person, a post, or the entire board, I'd be filthy rich by now. Some keep trying, but nobody's going to be walking on eggshells here.

Hey Libra. I too had my rebuttals silenced so I agree with that. It's very political here. Someone that's closer to Webmaster will have more of a voice which isn't really fair gamed. Allow people to defend their positions and allow the lambilies to decide on the verdict. People can read who is out of touch.

But I have brought it up to Webmaster and explained why it pushes people away. Thank you for confirming the sentiment. Brad probably falls into the same category of the lambs that eventually peace'd out because of bitterness. He was probably already bitter way before this recent incident.

To Eric's credit though, he's gotten way better. He just edits certain things now that could potentially open up of a can of worms, I can see why he does it. He's gotten more fair. He's well-meaning. Also proof-reading and approving hundreds of messages must be a workload so we have to cut him some slack.

My impatient self just couldn't trust MC, her team, and Gamma. Her team via Mariah Alerts on X played a game with Lambs today to find Here For It All billboards around L.A. this afternoon. Everything seems to be coming together. Type Dangerous had its biggest streaming increase in awhile on Spotify today.

New albums era (109,936) by Giovanni from USA
I heard Demi Lovato, Taylor Swift and Jennifer Lopez will also be releasing albums this year and I for one am sick of Taylor Swift. Hopefully no one stands in our way for Mariah to get herself a hit song. I've noticed that there seems to be a lot of excitement on social media for this new album with the fans.

Very interesting album title. I could care less about the album cover, I care about the music. I hope this album is successful and MC can get herself another number one to her name. "Sugar sweet" has a vibe and is catchy, I already like it so I'm ready.

I am wondering now if the rumored Bryson Tiller collaboration is on the Amazon exclusive CD potentially being that 12th track. That would surely entice more hip hop and R&B fans purchase that version of the CD. Everybody is saying on the social media JD's absence on a Mariah Carey album is the first time in 16 years. I feel he won't be out completely.

I think for me the problems were you stopped posting my messages and also there's a handful of characters on here that I refuse to even give a chance to interact with. I check in every few weeks for like 10 seconds. Life goes on. We have too many real problems to worry about opinions. Deuces.

One more cover reveal, I’m guessing tomorrow the D2C version. And then maybe the Sugar Sweet promo will start. Hoping for a fun video. I know Kehlani has writing credits on it but some people said it’s probably a sample. Because the other main writer just said it’s written by her and Mariah and produced by Harv.
