I used to get emails to my inbox. Now I'm only getting some to my junk mail. How do I get them to go to my inbox again?

No argument here. I've always admired and stood up to others the fact that MC writes her own songs. When she puts her name on a record, you know she was involved in every aspect of that particular project. She just didn't show up, sing the song, and leave. Terna started this topic and I don't believe he would ever question her songwriting vocabulary. I know I sure won't. Many of us are just lightheartedly talking about words she uses in her everyday talk that drive us crazy, lol. It ain't that deep. Carey on.

Given her induction into the song writers HOF and 19 #1s, I think her vocabulary is just fine but I know I'm in the minority on this message board.

This song is a masterpiece. All the available remixes are masterpieces. MC put this out during the night of EDM mania, and was just too slow for radio at that moment in time. But if she released it during another moment in time it would have been a larger hit. It was also unfortunate that those Paparazzi photos of her filming the video hit the web, and it broke the illusion of what the official video was showing us. That bathing suit wasn't it. But again, this song is a masterpiece and MC at her best, original and remixes.

I think many of Mariah's House Mixes she did in the 90's are way closer to BMS. Meteorite is a great disco track, just like I'm That Chick, YDKWTD, etc. I'd be absolutely down for Mariah to explore a good House/Dancehall album ah La Drake's Honestly Nevermind album and the direction we can assume Bey's new album is gonna take. She sounded amazing on the Unforgettable remix which was lean hard into a dancehall vibe

Remember when we all got excited when we heard the bridge snippet of this gem. The vocals were on point and those whistle notes.

It could be true. She may have a debilitating illness like MS, arthritis, Parkinson's etc. but just hasn't announced it publicly. Would answer a lot of questions.

I saw some people asking on social platforms if MC has some sort of a walking disability. I get the "diva thing", but she has overdone it and makes her unrelatable to ordinary people. Imagine how powerful the moment would have been if she walked in like a queen that she is, unaided. The commotion, bodies around her and all the help takes away from her.

There's a trial on a new walker for celebrities, it's called "The Butt Walker". It's something similar to what Michael Jackson used for his "Smooth Criminal Tilt" trick.

They're both dance tracks, but sound totally different. Meteorite sounds like futuristic dance disco and Break My Soul mixes house music with New Orleans bounce elements.
I get what you mean though, if MC had a killer dance video and airplay support, I think Meteorite could've done something. Beyoncé is still in her grace period as an artist, she's still very popular and on top of her game, so she'll be heavily hyped (by her fans), promoted, and pushed on radio, for a good while at least. It'll be interesting to see if she can defy the ageism that many women in music face after a certain age.

Lol. But Stacey I see people being escorted down stairs all the time and say to myself "there goes another anxious person", do you not see this every day occurrence where you live? Lol. This is a new one I'll have to add to my collection of excuses for the future.
And Stacey I am jesting of course, I too have real anxiety (but can walk unaided) so know what it is like at times.

Agreed. But silly us, it's because she's anxious. Gosh, I suffer from anxiety and I walk on my own all day, everyday. Maybe I should share my secret for walking all by my awesome self with Mariah's people.

IMO Mariah and Beyoncé are 2 completely different artists. Meteorite and Break My Soul sound nothing alike and to be honest BMS is the better of the 2 if I had to pick. Mariah doesn’t have the creative team behind her that Beyoncé has. Everyone can predict Mariah as Beyoncé stays slaying, unpredictable and keeping the world wanting more.

What do you think of Bey's latest single? Honestly, it reminds me of Mariah's Meteorite. Now, I am beginning to wonder why if it's Bey, suddenly it's a top 10 hit? When it is our dear MC, it's now a real struggle breaking into the Hot 100? Why? Just thinking of Meteorite (2014) and Caution single, which are all so good and Top 10-worthy songs! Why? Feeling frustrated that's all.

She looked beautiful. I hope she arrives back in the U.S. ready to finish working on her multitude of projects. I want a couple compliations to add to my collection. Wouldn't it be nice if one of compliations was all of the leftover tracks from the Island/Def Jam years? I need to hear Yours ft. Justin Timberlake and Reaching For The Sky.

Lambs, Mariah just stepped back on the world stage of fashion this weekend. She stole the show in Italy, from all social media and news reports. Both looks, first with Drew, Mariah, Sharon, Helen, and then later with Kris Jenner. She glowed with empowerment and beautiful. Vogue is posting about MC. The Drew, Mariah, Sharon and Helen moment needs to be on a Vogue cover.

I [loved] her appearance, she was giving Divas Live 98 meets the Soprano role she played in the "Bachelor". Made quite a buzz on social media actually. Mariah is indeed a stunningly beautiful woman, even when she isn't trying. I loved seeing her with Sharon Stone and Helen Mirren, just catching up.

She ran quite easily in heels at the Madison Square Garden concert, so it's probably a combination of corset, inebriation and (flicks through excuse card index) a malfunctioning ear monitor.
