MC always late to the party isn't just a metaphor (105,393) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter
I agree with your post. I hope it doesn't happen where she scraps all this but she might. Mariah has said in the past she doesn't want to talk about what she's releasing because people steal her concepts and beats her to it. But she literally has been doing the opposite hahah, randomly we got to know about SUD and that she's remaking it, then we've been hearing about TBL for so long and she said so many times it's ready she's just waiting for a home for it (but why even announce if you don't have a partner for it), then dropping hints about wanting to do a Jazz album, now saying she's mid way through a new album. Also let's not forget we've been hearing about an adaption of her memoirs. All the above projects have been hyped to be released "soon" but for some they've been years and we haven't heard peep.

MC always late to the party isn't just a metaphor (105,392) by Bobby A from United States
Great post T. We are all so hungry for new music that we can't understand what is taking her so long to give us something. I believe MC can't stand to hear the media talk about her having another failed single or album. It is almost like she has conditioned herself that every song or album release has to be a top 10 or #1 release. I wish she would take more chances with her music and feel the freedom of a jazz or gospel or dance album. We would certainly support her in these new music endeavors because we have witness how her impromtu jazz moments or other gospel and dance songs have freed us and put smiles on our faces.

I'm hearing Beyonce is going to dive into jazz and gospel after country music. She already did house music. Mariah mentioned on one of her Twitter Spaces that she doesn't want to go into her back catalogue of dance music out of fear that people will say she's jumping on the bandwagon. Which is crazy because she's done it first. Once Beyonce hits with Jazz, Mariah will feel pressured to not do it. I've even heard that act III might be Rock n Roll, which would be cool but then we can also kiss Someone's Ugly Daughter goodbye. It's almost like Mariah takes too long and then others steal her ideas. But it's not really theft it's more that the others are working faster and harder. I hope Mariah doesn't feel limited to R&B because she's afraid to go outside the box. Wasn't being put into a box the problem she had with her career in the first place? Now MC call that other MC and get SUD out already.

I hope so but mainly since a lot of these rumors are coming true I'm just giddy with excitement of the possibilities of Mariah's rumors coming true.

Mariah shoudn't (105,389) by Edward from USA
"Yes, And?" has lost its spark. Despite debuting at #1, it swiftly tumbled to #17 in its following week, and now faces a further decline, with predictions forecasting a drop to #24. Marked by a red bullet on the charts, its streaming and play counts have sharply declined.

Its initial debut at the top position can be attributed to the strategy of releasing seven slightly different versions at a discounted price, coupled with the intense longing of Ariana's fans for new music, who streamed the song relentlessly.

Considering the song's current state, Mariah would be wise to avoid joining a remix of a track that has already lost its appeal. Instead, she should focus her efforts on being involved in a fresh project from its inception.

Hate to break it to you, but Mariah will not release anything this year. There, I said it. It's 10 years since the release of MIAMTEC, Mariah has only released 1 studio album (Caution). She is completely wasting her annual Christmas hype. I am shocked once again, that January passed and she had nothing to capitalize on it. She's doing this game every year. So I don't really see this year being any different. Don't count on it, you're just going to be disappointed. Unfortunately, I think Mariah is surrounded by the wrong people.

I am sure MC knew of Beyonce's March release date. Beyonce has been very quiet lately. A late 3rd quarter release date for MC16 will probably be better now. Dua Lipa is dropping her album too sometime probably before June.

Vote Rock & Roll Hall of Fame (105,383) by Nicole from US
What's the fan vote for? As per the website:

Nominee ballots will be sent to an international voting body of more than 1,000 artists, historians, and members of the music industry. An artist's musical impact and influence on other artists, length and depth of career and body of work as well as innovation and superiority in style and technique are taken into consideration. Inductees will be announced in late April. The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame 2024 Induction Ceremony will take place in Cleveland this fall with date and on-sale information to be announced.

The insider account tweeted on January 14th that Beyoncé will release Act II in Q1 of 2024, well she just announced it's being released in March 29th so the account was correct. I will pass out if all the things tweeted about Mariah on that account comes true.

Ariana what are you doing here? (105,377) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter
If it goes with the proper crediting and if they find the remix to be the outperforming the original. With Big Energy they said the original outperformed the remix when truly I think the remix led to the original gaining streams but hey I don't know much about the numbers aspect of it. I'm hearing rumours to of Lady Gaga possibly being on Ariana's remix and also Olivia Rodrigo so now I don't know what is going on haha.

AI songs (105,374) by Bobby A from United States
Will, I heard Selfish playing in a store today and the vocal stacking reminded me of MC. It was written and produced by the most sought young producer right now - Cirkut. He wrote and produced Katy Perry's Dark Horse, Miley's Wrecking Ball, and most recently Unholy by Sam Smith and Kim Petras. Maybe MC will work with him.

Ariana what are you doing here? (105,371) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter
(If anyone doesn't know where the topic name comes from hahah it's from Nicki being on Insta live and Ariana starts viewing the live so Nicki says that line.) Ok so I suddenly remembered the post I shared on here with Ariana's demo vocals on a new song where she sings a few lines from WBT. And then I remembered the "rumor" from the insider account about Mariah reworking one of her #1s. Is Mariah and Ariana doing more than one collaboration? What do you guys think?

MC x AG (105,370) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter
Ok so I'm hearing this rumor is almost confirmed. I'm honestly really surprised that Mariah jumped on this song haha. It was the last song I'd expect to hear her on. So I guess this year is trying new things. I can respect that because we've been wanting her to be out of her comfort zone but my opinion still stands on how this wouldn't do much for Mariah, it'll only help Ariana. But I'm here for any new MC content and loving her new experimental era.
