Re: JD (42,538) by NYHotShotta from USA
Idk if JD was a great choice as a manager, I think Benny Medina as a manager would have been great. I mean he managed her for the Mimi album and that was great.

Re: Silent release (42,537) by NYHotShotta from USA
I don't think it'd be wise for MC to do a silent release because it'd look like she was copying Beyonce. Plus, Beyonce was really able to do a silent release because she already had strong pre-promtion with her Pepsi and H&M ads, her documentary, going on a world tour, and releasing snippets of potential album cuts so she could drop a silent release. I'm a little nervous about this new album because the promotion has been up and down. Her next single needs to be amazing. I just hope this album is amazing since she's been working on it for awhile.

KIK thank you (42,536) by Gilbert from USA
Maybe I got so many thumbs down because I thought someone on here was handsome or maybe because using KIK was a bad idea, but it doesn't matter. Thanks to those who did send me a message, it's been a pleasure chatting.

Respect (42,535) by 123 from USA
I do not understand why I have seen so much disrespect from fans to Jermaine during this era. You can voice your opinion without hitting below the belt with disrepecteful comments about someone's financial situation. You question someone's intelligence and publically call them inaquaquite when it's obvious to everyone with intelligence that the silence is intentional and there is something secretly brewing and Mariah is purposely not giving us any information at this point. There is a different strategy that is being used, one that involves secrecy and possibly a surprise factor. What did Mariah do when her album title got leaked without her approval? She changed it and changed the direction of the album. Has anyone been reading that iTunes already has deals with other unnamed artists to do more iTunes exclusives a la Beyonce. I wouldn't be surprised if she has a similar set up with this new project. Mariah has discussed using different methods to release music during the turn of the millenium indicating that the labels are to blame for not embracing new methods of getting music out there when the internet came about. And enough with everyone thinking that Jermaine is a "yes" man and that Mariah would have someone on her team that was taking advantage of her that she wouldn't for a second sniff that out.

Quaid (42,534) by Randy from USA
You took the post right out of my fingers. What's interesting is that I think this is all being handled badly and yet, I have never searched the boards or the web so frantically or fervently for an answer. So she does have us all salivating, even if it is in anger. I do think it may come out quietly due to the changes over at the label. In addition, I can't imagine her making yet another excuse to push the album back, although the reshuffling at the label would give her a good one. Or should we just all batten down the hatches and listen to old MC releases until May 6, 2015? This could be the ultimate prank, since she's a prankster. "Oh you thought I meant this year?"

Quaid / other thoughts (42,533) by Marissa from USA
I agree. I'm not even going to try to figure her out because it's useless. I feel like if Mariah did one of those Beyonce-style releases she would live to regret it. Mariah is not Beyonce. I don't mean that in terms of talent at all, but in terms of popularity in today's society. I just wonder if Mariah realizes that or if she's in denial. I just think this lack of promo is a mistake all around when your last album (aside from MCIIY) was in 09. A lot of people are trying to make sense of this era, but I think there are really a lot of problems behind the scenes and we're just dealing with the consequences. I don't think any of this stuff that's going on at this point is strategic at all. I think they are dealing with a mess and trying to pick of the pieces and try to convince us that it's on purpose. I don't care how unbothered MC tries to act on Twitter and Instagram. I'm not buying it. Why was there more national press for a Facebook release of a "not really a single" single than there is for an album? You can't tell me that that's intentional.

Opinions / please respond (42,532) by Marissa from USA
Which era do you guys think was/is better: Glitter or this one (we're less than a month away and I don't even know what the name of this era is ) and why? Btw, my comment in parentheses basically shows/reveals my opinion. Also, which era has divided the lambs the most, Glitter or this unidentified era?

Silent release? (42,531) by Quaid Long from USA
Do you all think that maybe sis will just drop the album on May 6 with no promotion at all a la Beyonce (even though I know we're all tired of hearing that) and just let it speak for itself? Maybe she's thinking that silence will speak volumes (in which case the album better be amazing and leave us all speechless, lol). Anyway, just a thought. TBH I'm tired of trying to figure Ms. Girl out lately. No one really knows WTF is going on in her camp, and they're not giving us anything, so I'm just wondering if this is all on purpose. Get the lambs in a frenzy and see how they fall at her feet once again when she slays on 5/6.

My thoughts (42,530) by G.G. from USA
I see that Mariah is in the studio with Fabolous still working. If the album is coming out May 6th, then she'll have to turn it in pretty soon. By the 18th or 25th of April, I would think. As far as criticizing Mariah, there is a nice way of doing it. I don't agree with all her choices and don't love all of her songs (Triumphant). It's ok to not agree with everything someone says and does. It doesn't mean you don't love them and support them. As far as management goes, she needs someone who isn't her friend to manage her. Randy, Jermaine etc. She needs a no nonsense business person behind the scenes. Just because someone is your friend, doesn't mean they're qualified to run your business/brand.

Fans have been critiquing their favorite artists for years. We buy the music; we made them who they are today. We have every right to agree or disagree with the way our favorite artists run their career. Of course there are people that take it too far. Mariah Carey is not the exception to fan critiquing. We all do it. Isn't this where we come to discuss her? Some posts are more negative than other so I get it; I get not wanting to see negativity all the time. With that said, you cannot have it only one way. Still looking forward to this album, maybe it will be her second Opus? Butterfly obviously being the first. Anyone here on Instagram? If so follow me, @mylee_arthur. It would be fun to see the faces of fellow fans.

Too much loose talk (42,528) by Geronimo from USA
I'm am starting to think that some fans are less interested in publicly supporting Mariah and more interested in getting recognized for expressing their frustration and offering their 2 cents. How is it that so many people think they actually have something interesting or logical to say about the inner workings of MC's management, her drinking, her marriage, her promotional schedule? There is an endless stream of individuals in the press (not to mention the trolls) whose job it is to be critical about MC's voice and single choice, to repeat random speculation and gossip and to question her sanity and work ethic. Why do some fans get confused about their role? Maybe somebody doesn't get enough attention offline and needs to get their life from mooching off MC's limelight.

Chris Buckle (42,527) by Chicago Lamb from USA
Christopher looks like he's had too much botox. Botox freezes the facial muscles but is not a filler. Additionally, he looks like he's had some filler put in his lips, ala restylane or collagen. He does not look natural, at all. Mariah however just happens to have a full face, naturally. [censored] She looks pretty plastic free.

Full face (42,526) by Me. I am Carly from USA
I cannot speak for Mariah, but Kristopher Buckle ( Mariah' s make-up artist) has a similar fullness of the face and he recently tweeted that he looks so young by use of Botox. Basically it is a filler and smoother, it is very very common in show business. I love Mariah's face so I hope that she is not using anything that might change her from being natural.

Any news about the album? (42,525) by Anonymous from
I'm really worried about the upcoming album, it suppossed that it will be in stores about May 6th and it's less than a month and we have nothing in concret about it, not even a title. What kind of promotion is this? I'm really upset and dissapointed about this situation, and some press notes express this feeling too. I wonder what is Jermaine Dupri, as a manager, doing for this album, where's Cindi Berger, her publicist? Where's Mariah, where's the big team behind that mega star called Mariah Carey?

Relations between songs (42,524) by Antonio from Spain
In midst of all the album situation, I would like to escape from that for a minute and get into another fan topic. Lately, listening to ''Underneath the Stars'', ''Long Ago'' and ''My All'', I've noticed that ''Fourth of July'' is very reminiscent of ''UTS'', ''The Roof'' of ''Long Ago'', and ''I Only Wanted'' and ''After Tonight'' of ''My All''. What are your thoughts? Love to my dear lamb family.

lovemimi (42,523) by Darryle from USA
If that's true then we should be getting some news from Mariah soon I hope. Also if it's tru,e does that mean the album not a double one because 15 tracks while being a long album Mariah's done a 15 song album. Maybe it is going to be 15 tracks on 2 CDs. I hope it's the latter.

JD (42,522) by Darryle from USA
I think that LA Reid is partially right about JD. I feel like JD and Mariah are too comfortable with each other to really say what they feel. JD is probably just Mariah's yes man. Don't get me wrong though, JD is a great producer and writer, he's helped with some of Mariah's best songs. Every once in a while he has a great idea too. The Facebook release of TAOLG was a really good idea and a great way to connect with fans. But she needs someone who can tell her no, who's managed other people with successful careers, and someone who can fully devote themselves to managing her not doing that part time and writing/producing/managing other artist the other half of the time. At the end of the day though Mariah has complete control over how many performances she does and who manages her so I guess I can't really blame JD.

To lovemimi (42,521) by Jeremey Carey from United States
I really hope you're telling the truth. I actually love that title. It's not the one word title everyone was looking for, but I definitely like it better than TAOLG. I just wonder how the songs/concept have changed throughout the creative process of it all.

Mariah's cheek (42,520) by Ryan from the Philippines
Mariah always have prominent cheeks ever since (see some of her younger pics) just like her mom. And it makes her cheeks look bigger especially when she gains weight. But even if she has the weight, she can actually have that slimmer looking face on her pics or in some videos courtesy of make-up called contouring. That's the miracle Kristoffer does to her.

lovemimi, thanks for sharing that bit of info. I take it you work at a music store. How reliable is your information? Because that name sounds quite generic, I'm not sure I like it very much. 15 tracks sounds good though.

Can someone enlighten me (42,517) by Marissa from USA
I'm not trying to be rude, but does anyone know what's going on with Mariah's cheeks? I know I'm not the only one who's noticed this. One minute I see her and her face looks like it usually does, but lately it's been randomly swollen. I know she's not crazy enough to have had cheek implants so I guess it's something else. I'm only commenting on it because it's so out of the blue. Those pictures from the "no one actually heard the music" listening party and the recent Vine with ABMB playing in the background had me concerned.

Album title (42,516) by lovemimi from usa
Anyways I work at a certain "store". The manager handed me out a list of paper with a list of certain cd's to be put out on shelfs for sale. Well when I scroll down the list Mariah's name was listed due for may 6 2014 with 15 tracks and album to be titled" Love to Infinity".

The wait is hurting this album (42,514) by Miguel from USA
As much as I love MC I would have to agree that the wait for this album has been too long. Pushing back the release date over and over again has made people lose interest. It's lack of promotion as well but she is MC, she has a say when it will be released, and she is choosing not to for whatever reason. It is pretty annoying. It does not help releasing singles so far apart from each other and so far away from the album release. I hope things change fast because otherwise this album will flop and that will not be good. All in all I hope everything gets better for MC, lambs need this album to be amazing and see her do great again.
