Re: Vocabulary (100,696) (100,701) by Edward from USA
There's a trial on a new walker for celebrities, it's called "The Butt Walker". It's something similar to what Michael Jackson used for his "Smooth Criminal Tilt" trick.

Are you serious? Mariah has still a worldwide hit on the charts, did you expect or predict that?

Re: B's Break My Soul (100,693) (100,699) by Mirage_Nunez from America
They're both dance tracks, but sound totally different. Meteorite sounds like futuristic dance disco and Break My Soul mixes house music with New Orleans bounce elements.

I get what you mean though, if MC had a killer dance video and airplay support, I think Meteorite could've done something. Beyoncé is still in her grace period as an artist, she's still very popular and on top of her game, so she'll be heavily hyped (by her fans), promoted, and pushed on radio, for a good while at least. It'll be interesting to see if she can defy the ageism that many women in music face after a certain age.

Lol. But Stacey I see people being escorted down stairs all the time and say to myself "there goes another anxious person", do you not see this every day occurrence where you live? Lol. This is a new one I'll have to add to my collection of excuses for the future.

And Stacey I am jesting of course, I too have real anxiety (but can walk unaided) so know what it is like at times.

I hear no similarities in BMS and Meteorite. How did this comparison begin? They're both up tempo's. What am I missing?

Re: Vocabulary (100,685) (100,696) by Stacey from USA
Agreed. But silly us, it's because she's anxious. Gosh, I suffer from anxiety and I walk on my own all day, everyday. Maybe I should share my secret for walking all by my awesome self with Mariah's people.

Both are good works. Meteorite sounds complicated while BMS sounds catchy.

IMO Mariah and Beyoncé are 2 completely different artists. Meteorite and Break My Soul sound nothing alike and to be honest BMS is the better of the 2 if I had to pick. Mariah doesn’t have the creative team behind her that Beyoncé has. Everyone can predict Mariah as Beyoncé stays slaying, unpredictable and keeping the world wanting more.

B's Break My Soul (100,693) by Lainsky from Philippines
What do you think of Bey's latest single? Honestly, it reminds me of Mariah's Meteorite. Now, I am beginning to wonder why if it's Bey, suddenly it's a top 10 hit? When it is our dear MC, it's now a real struggle breaking into the Hot 100? Why? Just thinking of Meteorite (2014) and Caution single, which are all so good and Top 10-worthy songs! Why? Feeling frustrated that's all.

Re: Italy (100,691) (100,692) by Bobby A from United States
She looked beautiful. I hope she arrives back in the U.S. ready to finish working on her multitude of projects. I want a couple compliations to add to my collection. Wouldn't it be nice if one of compliations was all of the leftover tracks from the Island/Def Jam years? I need to hear Yours ft. Justin Timberlake and Reaching For The Sky.

Italy (100,691) by Matty from Vancouver Canada
Lambs, Mariah just stepped back on the world stage of fashion this weekend. She stole the show in Italy, from all social media and news reports. Both looks, first with Drew, Mariah, Sharon, Helen, and then later with Kris Jenner. She glowed with empowerment and beautiful. Vogue is posting about MC. The Drew, Mariah, Sharon and Helen moment needs to be on a Vogue cover.

I believe it because of her anxiety, she need assistants because she is nervous, no brainer, really.

I [loved] her appearance, she was giving Divas Live 98 meets the Soprano role she played in the "Bachelor". Made quite a buzz on social media actually. Mariah is indeed a stunningly beautiful woman, even when she isn't trying. I loved seeing her with Sharon Stone and Helen Mirren, just catching up.

Ha ha, here the same. Bleak is bleak. Lol. And all just because of the "Mean Girls" movie.

Re: Vocabulary (100,685) (100,686) by Bill from the UK
She ran quite easily in heels at the Madison Square Garden concert, so it's probably a combination of corset, inebriation and (flicks through excuse card index) a malfunctioning ear monitor.

Re: Vocabulary (100,684) (100,685) by Webmaster Eric from the Netherlands
What drives me crazy is that Mariah can't walk without assistance. I know she's wearing high heels, but after all these years she should have learned how to walk on them. There are ladies who can run on high heels.

Oh dear, I'll probably get chastised for this but the whole "bleak, dahling it's bleak" drives me crazy.

It's a slang phrase that became popular in late 2000s.

Vocabulary (100,681) by Terna from Nigeria
"Or whatever". This phrase needs to be deleted from her everyday vocabulary, and she uses it a lot. It comes across as rude and kinda off putting (and it even made an appearance at the Songwriters Hall of Fame speech). Am I the only one sensing this? I was watching the masterclass, 2 minutes in there it was. Lol.

One of my all time favourite Mariah performances. Simple, controlled, and excellent. And not an insecurity in sight. She was very much in her comfort zone with that song, and knew she would deliver, as you have said. Some of her early 00s performances were great. There was a semi resurgence of the voice post breakdown, and Mariah taking more care of herself.

Oh my is that sweet. Fantasy and Daydream were the reason I became a fan. So many good memories with "Fantasy". I'll always love the "roller skates" outfit. Is there a chance that it will be on Amazon.de in autumn or by the end of year? I really need this for my living room.

It is cute. It also comes with a Pop Stacks protector cover. I am going to order mine soon because you will not be able to find it in the stores when it is released. Lately, Wal-Mart does not always ship Mariah Carey merchandise to every store upon release.
