Lol. So 90's. One of the main reasons Mariah became so big in the United States and remained relevant was that the black community embraced her right from the beginning, and this was at a time when physical copies sold and radio airplay ruled supreme. Must see video (94,355) by Edouard from France Hey everyone. Check out this video. I had seen it before but never really paid attention to Mariah's body language here. She did not expect to win a Soul Train award and it shows. She even seems to be uncomfortable at some point. After she won her third you can see [Tommy Mottola] jump out of his sit while clapping. He's ready to join Mariah backstage. I wonder if she was overwhelmed or if something unpleasant happened between them between her wins that forced her to be this quick while delivering her winning speech.
