Walkers' campaign (91,161)
by Tijl from Belgium
| |
|
|
On the lighter side of life - let's stop the mud throwing on here - who else is excited about Mariah's campaign for Walkers' ? I am convinced it will help catapult AIWFCIY to the #1 spot in the UK.

Your arguments are manipulations of facts and, as such, it is clear you know they have no merit.
Nobody is using medical conditions *against* Mariah. She is not being attacked or mocked for it. Indeed she had never claimed she couldn't sing or sing well because of medical conditions. Wacko fans who will do or say anything regardless of fact or lack of evidence make those claims themselves and it is *they* who were being mocked from what I, and I dare say, most people, can see.
A word to the wise: you may think of Mariah as family but she almost certainly does not think of you that way. You are simply a fan. Stars need fans to keep recording contracts, to get film roles, to make money. Try to stop Mariah in the street and have a conversation with her and she will dismiss you almost as fast as she tells you she loves you on stage.
The world is ever so depressing when people like you cry vicarious victimhood because they don't subscribe to your (intentionally) warped viewpoint. If you are so fragile that someone you like may not be praised and heralded 24/7 seek help with your own emotions. Last time I checked Mariah was perfectly capable of dismissing comments she doesn't like. And is rather successful herself at taking on people who get in her way.
So whilst you pull you hair out and shout down people who poke at the little bubble you live in, just imagine Mariah on her yacht sipping champagne and not, in all actuality, giving a $*** about you and your total lack of a sense of humor.
And maybe said yacht *is* anchored off the coast of Israel. And maybe Mariah doesn't like people who clasp at straws to spout anti-Jewish sentiment at any given opportunity. And maybe as she walks past you in the street while you fangirl like a maniac she might turn around and give you five seconds to tell you so. I'd buy that for a dollar.
Suffice is to say, you need to chill the freak out, lighten up and probably not attack well-intentioned honest and humorous people who seem to spend a good part of their lives posting here in support of Mariah just because you think it gets you one step closer to true Mariah nirvana. Smells like teen $***.

I'm a great human being and I found that list to be absolutely hilarious. Most of the things that were listed on that list were in fact excuses that her and her team gave for when something went wrong and some were made up by the lambs to make themselves feel better about defending the crap show.
No one made fun of her mental illness. The joke was how the fans tried to use her mental illness as a crutch to explain why she was making the jacked up decisions she was making. That to me is more disrespectful because she nor her team used that as an excuse. Your psycho counterparts did.

Licia, what a beautiful human being you are that [you] find amusement in lies about a human being or the fact that we now use medical conditions/diseases against people. You need to revalue what's funny and what's not.
Edward, I rather be a grumpy lamb [censored], and the fact that Mariah even knows about you by saying "true lambily" makes me so happy. No you are not a real fan if you don't know what support, love and admiration are.
We our supposed to be the rock that Mariah can count on. [censored] I don't like everything Mariah does, my biggest critic in regards to her is her relationship with Israel. But as someone who loves her, I wouldn't post that [censored] in the social media "except when I'm making a point". I see Mariah as family, and family don't tear each other up, they lift each other up. And what's something many people here to need to learn.

So disappointed Sony and Def Jam (91,157)
by Bobby A from United States

I am so disappointed that every year that Sony and Def Jam fail to issue a Mariah Carey box set or live DVD. What are they waiting on to give Lambs something extra from MC's enormous career?

Bill, the last part of my post 91,152 that states: "And who are you to talk for all of us? Talk for yourself and the ones who agree with you" wasn't meant for you. It was written as a reply to post 91,151. They now want to dictate what's considered a joke in here based on their delusions.

Bill, "These Grumpy Lambs" is a hidden track on the Merry Christmas Deluxe album for some of the super lambs on MCArchives. And who are you to talk for all of us? Talk for yourself and the ones who agree with you.

Bill, bad jokes aren't allowed here and that's the only thing you are offering.
I say some rumours that she would perform and I know she would slay it. Nobody does second chances better than Mariah, like with NYE. 25+ millions watched her redeem herself while earing around 3-7 millions "I don't remember anymore".

The last time she performed there was really chaotic. She was late on the day she was actually supposed to record her performance so they sent her back home. Then they allowed her to perform on the live show and it was bad. I don't think she has performed at this event since then. That's probably why a joke was made.

She did perform there a couple of times before, why would it be a joke? I was asking because it would be good promotion for AIWFCIY.

There's so much I could say about CLG. It's the perfect mix of great vocals and great lyrics. It's definitely a favorite from the Emotions album. I could listen to this song all day and it will never get old.

Except no one's laughing at the so called joke. I didn't find it funny when you conjured it up the first time, and this time it's just stale and rather irritating. You stay trying to make fetch happen, it's not gonna happen. So much for a "jest".
