Article: Fans suspect Mariah is "teasing" a new era of music (106,125) by Bobby A from United States
MC is getting ready to make us so very happy soon. The fact that she is playfully engaging with one insider account and posting beautiful pics every week says a new era announcement eminent.

The Emancipation of Mimi (106,122) by Bobby A from United States
This week we will celebrate the best album rollout of MC's career 19 years ago. I have so many memories of TEOM leading up to the release day. It will always be MC's most celebrated album release that makes other album releases today seem small in comparison. How many streaming records would TEOM have broken that first week? Will MC ever release another album like TEOM again?

Mariah and Janet (106,121) by Jamie from UK
Yes I prefer The One to Boy but both are no where near as radio friendly as Janet's Jam. Charmbracelet is more of a fans album only, I'm grateful for it as I am with all her work. But I feel at that point when her career had taken a bit of a knock she should have been encouraged to do more radio friendly main stream music to reconnect with the public. Oh and don't get me started on Le register de whistle lol.

If we don't get a MC and Janet duet within the next five years, it will be a total shame. The time is right for one now. Both ladies are due new album releases.

"The One" would have been a better choice. And it was the original choice. The video for Boy was for "The One" but I think the label made her change it because I remember a video where someone asks her about The One and she says something like you should ask the label I want it to be a single. I also love the remix of The One.

Janet's song is far superior than Boy, it's upbeat and catchy. Whilst I like Boy, it lacks something and wasn't radio friendly.

The elephant in the room (106,116) by Bobby A from United States
I believe we were really close to getting a MC Tory Lanez collaboration because of who he had collaborated with from JoJo to Kehlani to Chris Brown. A MC and Tory Lanez collaboration would have been a stone cold hit. Sadly, he assaulted Megan Thee Stallion right at the height of his collaborations with everybody topping the Urban charts.

MC's collabs with Diddy have stood the test of time. I don't think anyone can touch the Fantasy remix with ODB no matter what happens with Diddy. That song singlehandedly changed the music scene in the 1990s. Same goes for Honey, debuts at #1 just like Fantasy. Nothing can touch those songs.

Bryson Tiller's new album (106,111) by Bobby A from United States
Bryson Tiller's 4th album was released today. I can only assume that the duet he wanted to do with Mariah was replaced with Persuasion with Victoria Monet. I guess MC couldn't make time in the studio to collaborate. His new album is fire though. There goes another missed high profile duet.

Both Diddy and R Kelly are creative [musical geniuses] at what they did and how they affected the music industry and changed its landscape forever, [fact]. That said it doesn't excuse the allegations if true. However, artists like Mariah and a bevy more of others they worked with shouldn't be dragged into the mess - that's business and I highly doubt they were aware of these [men's] "extracurricular activities" so to speak in their personal lives. Like the saying goes "[you] don't mix [business] with [pleasure]". History also has proven that [geniuses] tend to fight demons in private and have a dark version of themselves always hidden behind the scenes, a [ying-yang]', Jerkyl [sic] and Hyde scenario.

I don't think it will all. MC continues to make millions from the Fantasy remix, Honey and Breakdown each year. Sadly, Diddy has already spent his millions from royalties and producer payments from these three songs. He is in a lot of trouble and will be another music mogul who will lose everything.

Ok so everyone is innocent until proven guilty. I'm asking this question not for your opinion about if Diddy is guilty or innocent, but I'm curious if the allegations about illegal activity turns out to be true (particularly the traffic allegation), how do you think that would affect some of Mariah's music?

I know some people won't even listen to BGK from Memoirs because of RK, but songs like Honey and the remix has Diddy all over it, and those are big popular songs in her discography. I ask this question out of curiosity, no answer is wrong or incorrect, everyone is entitled to their views and opinions.

New single (106,106) by Anonymous from USA
I hope we get a fresh new single that radio will be dying to get their hands on, like the old days. One can dream, right? It's been too long since the last one. I thought GTFO and With You were gonna be big hits and sadly was disappointed. I guess we'll see.

Musicals (106,104) by MusicfanJ from Germany
I agree with you. Glitter is not a musical at all. Just a music movie with drama and autobiographical elements. Hmm the worst, it's really not that bad. I still have it on DVD. It was my first DVD together with "A river runs through it" back then in 2001. Memories.

Musicals (106,103) by Anonymous from USA
People are so desperate to have their name attached to Mariah Carey that they reach anywhere they can, they know her name will bring much needed publicity to their otherwise mundane articles. Glitter is most definitely not a musical. Not to mention the soundtrack is nothing short of amazing, and they know that. Desperation calls for desperate nonsensical articles and rankings. If we're going to talk about the worst musical, Mean Girls recently released as a musical is by far the worst I've seen in a long time. My husband and I could not sit through the entire thing. They almost ruined the original for me, almost. Glitter may not be good, by most people's standards, but I still love it and give it a pass because it's Mariah Carey at her campiest. If anything, blame the director Vondie Curtis Hall.

So collider.com named Glitter the worst musical ever. Cats was number 2. Does anyone consider Glitter a musical? I'm not saying it's amazing, but it's not a "musical".
