Honestly, I could take this as "Butterfly 2.0" and don't get me started, finally hearing her own versions of "Last Chance", "All cried out" and "Head Over Heels". Reddit is reporting a 2 disc set with the original Butterfly album and the new tracklisting. MC is really making a statement that I am the Vocal Queen and the original Dance Queen. Notice how MC chose Halle Bailey over Chloe Bailey for Breakdown. Must be a subtle shade to Beyonce and her protégé Chloe. We should know after September 2nd with be listed many retailers website when the album is coming out. Who knows, maybe the Jumpsmokers Remix album will be a bonus disc. Good times are on the way. Then Nicki was signed later for $12 million. Nicki then said she was told, Mariah doesn't want you here by staff and crew. Nicki said "No, I know her. That's not true." When they began filming, Mariah was sniping and being shady and petty. Which is why Nicki flipped out. I wouldn't have believed Nicki's version of events if Mariah hadn't kept reiterating that she (MC) expected to be the only female judge like JLo was. Mariah said that fifteen million times. I didn't understand why she was so bothered by someone who clearly idolized her. And ima be honest. Nicki gave better criticisms. But "real fans" will say the show edited the fight or didn't give MC enough time to talk so it seemed like MC didn't have good criticism. I'll tell you this. MC was beat to the gods in makeup hair and wardrobe but yet she didn't have enough time to give good criticism? Nah. Nicki won that round. Now Madonna started that feud talking about "the country that buys MC albums acquitted OJ Simpson". Eminem started that feud by saying they had a relationship. I do believe he jacked off on her stomach and she acted like his semen was nuclear waste. That's so MC. But that's his fault. JLo I have an issue with. I think that was Cory Rooney who stole the idea he heard of "If We" for JLo's I'm Real. And Tommy stole Firecracker as a sample for the album version of "I'm Real". I know years later, Mariah said she's upset about the Idol situation, but that's more about the situation with the management than with Minaj. I always thought their "feud" was manufactured for American Idol. The JLo situation and the Eminem back and forth always made sense, but I believe Nicki loves Mariah, and after all, Mariah gave Nicki her first Billboard charting song, not to mention the UOMF remix should have been the album version. Out of all the beefs MC has, this one I felt was MC's fault. Now I eagerly await all the "real fans" to reply I'm negative, why am I talking about Nicki on a Mariah Carey board and my personal favorite, you don't even sound like you like Mariah, why don't you just leave? I remember when there was remixes etc of his music, or some kind of reissue a number of years ago, he had a huge renaissance in his music. Brought it to a whole new audience. I'm going to be brutally honest here, but I don't think Mariah could pull it off with how she overthinks music these days. I get that she needs to focus on money because, depending on your lifestyle and your location and your other responsibilities, that simply is how life is. There are some other nuanced things I would like to say about her overall well-being and aesthetic as a maturing lady lately, but I'm gonna wait until I can find the right words because doing so in a sloppy way will simply add to the brutish negativity that needs to disappear.
