The original version was more powerful and catchy. This version is weak if not redundant. I understand the concept with the two others from a business point of view but that is all. And Mariah, you have worn some bad ensembles in the past but really, this concoction makes no sense whatsoever. Why didn't she stick with a nice evening gown in the same shade of green? It cheapens the effect of her being the queen of Christmas with her two elves. Sorry, sorry, sorry... no. A serious anticlimax after the build-up towards the launch of this remix. I do am glad a younger demograph seems to enjoy it so MC will garner some new fans. And what is happening with Jennifer's nails? Serious Wicked Witch vibes there. (Friday 4 December 2020; 13:45)

The Apple special (96,806) by Gee from U.S.A. (New York City) I actually watched the Apple special once it was available, all I can say is that I love it from top to bottom. Mariah has given so much of herself to us this year and she has done an amazing job. I also love the 2020 version of Oh Santa all of three of them held their own without doing too much. This special is the true meaning of fun, love, and joy. Thank you Mariah for being the amazing gift that keeps on giving. Oh Santa! collaboration (96,804) by Lee from UK I am pleased that Mariah collaborated with two other female singers on Oh Santa! It's refreshing to see women supporting each other rather than trying to out-diva each other for a change. With that being said the whole thing seems a little shady. Who told Ariana to sing her lines in a whispery voice which completely under-represents her talents and destroys the pace of the song. Why didn't J Hud get a moment to shine. Oh Santa is too weak for J Hud's vocal talent. The surprise moment was Mariah allowing Ariana to harmonize in whistle register. Thank God they removed the auto-tuned whistle from the original version. (Friday 4 December 2020; 12:43)

Oh Mariah (96,803) by Andrew from the United Kingdom The special was fun and top quality. I think Mariah standing in front of Ariana and Jennifer was possibly a little rude. But they definitely bring something to the song. Will it chart high? Probably not. If it does it will be because the The Ariana Grindrs will get it there. Oh Santa has always been a good song. It's not AIWFCIY, but it's good. Mariah's lip syncing has improved somewhat. I think in certain places she was actually singing in the studio as it looks realistic (and I believe in ya Saint Nick). The jokes about the rider etc were not obnoxious and actually funny. But the absolutely best was Mariah on the sleigh singing Sleigh Bells. That is the campest funniest thing I have ever seen her do. I cried tears with laughter. And Mariah was on television with a white person. That's five and counting. (Friday 4 December 2020; 12:35)

Ariana looks and sings like from a high school musical, Jennifer Hudson was good but really looked a little "uncomfortable". Mariah seemed to have fun. I prefer the original one. But I do have to say, am I the only one who noticed how uncomfortable and not prepared JHud looked? Ariana looked a little shy at first but she got into it once they all stepped up to the front. Love Jhud in the track she adds some star quality. Ariana is ok but not sure if it's me but seems a little shy or not really into it? Not sure [where] it will chart or if it will but a good effort and oh would have thought this time last year she'd be releasing a track with these two. 2020 might be a terrible year for the world but a pretty good one for Mimi and us. Oh Santa (96,797) by Terna from Nigeria Boy, am I pleasantly surprised. It wasn't Mariah's 2010 vocals and she actually re-recorded the song with Ariana and Jennifer and it sounds good. Well thought out who sings what and it didn't come across as "crowded". And those harmonies in the whistle register, just glorious. It came out better than I imagined. Oh Santa 2020 reaction (96,796) by Malcolm from Asia It's good. I can't say that it tops the original version but it's fine it's a decent one considering the different tones of them. What I observed is that Mariah lets Ariana do the whistle together with her like we all know it's unusual for Mariah to do that. Because of this I got thinking if she really is in complete good place right now because if we will notice her recent projects (the memoir, The Rarities and this big budgeted Christmas special), it's like she already acknowledges that she is not getting any younger so she's been releasing all of this all together and now this Mariah and Ariana moment where it can interpreted as her recognizing that there's this already a whole other generation of "female" singers that are reigning today and is not her anymore. Also if you caught what she said on her interview with Misty Copeland for Amazon, she said something "I want my story to be here when I'm not here anymore" is more proof that she is now acknowledging that her time is over and she's just here being legendary and living the life. We don't know maybe she gave herself an ultimatum that when she reaches 50 years old she'll start retiring and just do the things she loves. All in all I'm happy with the Christmas special (besides her failing to lip her own songs right as always ), Merry Christmas everyone. (Friday 4 December 2020; 07:53)

The remix of the decade (96,794) by We are lambily from USA Wow, that was really amazing and the chemistry between with them was to die for. The way Mariah cheered both on during their parts. Mariah did what Mariah used always do elevate a song with its remix. I may never play the original again. Lol. Mariah truly held her own, and once again she proved that her musicality is unmatched. The song of the year, I hope lambs support this song like never before. It’s definitely a top tier Christmas classic and the special was unbelievably amazing, like Mariah’s catalogue. The new Oh Santa! (96,790) by this_is_qhm from the Philippines This was such a pleasant surprise. The production value was superb. No one was trying to deliberately upstage or outsing anyone, the harmonizing was solid, especially during the whistled parts. Their voices worked surprisingly well. Everyone had something unique to bring to the table. Their vocal and visual chemistry is quite evident. JHud's volume was in perfect control, Ariana's soft tones were a nice contast, and yay for Mariah's re-recorded vocals. All the time Mariah has avoided female collaborations like the plague and yet here she is holding her own against younger vocalists. It seems like all she needed was to do it to get the best out of her. Would love to see her work with either J or Ari in the future. Especially Ariana. (Friday 4 December 2020; 06:15)

She's been singing it the same since 94 so I welcome the few little changes to it. We all know she pre-records (in caps) everything but not a big fan of the overuse of melodyne lately. Her tone sounds unnatural. Just do multiple takes Mariah and cut and paste your vocals. I'm fine with that. Full voice Mariah is always what I prefer then that airy whispery approach to took for the whole Hero part. (Friday 4 December 2020; 05:00)

She is more than that. She inspired an entire generation of singers. She is the queen our time. Ariana is reminiscent of that fact.
