Heroe is there on the EP on Amazon Music. I've seen it pop up on my YouTube feed too.

She did great considering many other artists just start singing in Spanish without even trying, but it was evident she just didn't jump in the studio, she did her homework. And nobody has talked about her Spanish version of Hero, she didn't release it with Spanish EP.

And this the way you're trying to score Bill? You're going to have to up the ante and include a copy of "The Mean of Mariah Carey" besides the free shipping for "The Rarities".

The memoir (95,429)
by Anonymous from United States
| |
|
|
I think what I'm most looking forward to in the book is a potential in-depth exploration of "Glitter" as a project from the time of its inception as "All That Glitters" up to the end of the "Glitter" era in late 2001. I listened to the "Glitter" episodes of The Mariah Report recently and thought it was really cool of Dan and Martin to go through the original screenplay by Cheryl West. The original concept sounded much more interesting than the finished product. I know that a cover version of "Out Here On My Own" is rumored to be part of the track listing for "The Rarities". Maybe that was originally tied to "All That Glitters". The lyrics of the song certainly fit in with the theme of the film.
I'm pretty familiar with Mariah's fraught family dynamics and difficult childhood and adolescence, so I don't think those chapters of the book will hold many surprises. I'm also kind of bored with discussions Tommy Mottola saga. I would like to hear more about what was like for Mariah working at Sony after the divorce, and I wonder if she will talk about the movie offers she was never told about.

Very interesting that if one of those times in her life didn't happen, we wouldn't have the same MC today. I am sure Crustella will be talked about in the Emancipated part. I am so excited to get my hands on a copy.

Nice to see a truly Mariah-centric vlogger on YouTube who does his best to make good content. He's gone from a few hundreds to now over a thousand subscribers within a month. Check his channel out and subscribe. Us remaining lambs need to support each other. Whoever among y'all is behind True Treacle, congrats and keep on keeping on.

Butterfly (95,424)
by Bobby A from United States
| |
|
|
Listening to Butterfly the song right now. I can truly say that was the Mariah who was adored by radio programmers. If we can only get that Mariah back again with MC16. Michael Jackson lost his smooth sound when he stopped working with Quincy Jones. Madonna lost her material girl pop when she stopped working with Patrick Leonard and Stephen Bray. So, I won't mention his name again. But you know how MC lost signature pop ballad sound. Hopefully radio will notice MC again on October 2nd.

Define Mariah (95,420)
by Musti from UK
| |
|
|
With the upcoming book, I started to think about what the meaning of Mariah Carey is for me and the point in time when I understood what she represents. Besides her catalog, it was actually the infamous 2001 TRL appearance that made me realise Mariah is all about perseverance and having a set of values that one adheres to. I find it surprising that she's been shamed for that appearance all these years while its most important moment went unnoticed. At some point after taking off her t-shirt, Mariah said they could start a clothing line with it. When Carson said "That would be the girl's division", Mariah naturally responded "What's wrong with a guy wearing this? We love all types of people." Considering she was going through hell at the time, I was so proud of her for not letting that comment slip. Of course this moment was extra special for a young gay man who didn't see much outspoken support for people like me in those days. But more than that, it also showed me that if you have an understanding of right and wrong and you stick to your values, you will be alright.

Agreed, I look forward to the day the truth is finally exposed too. There is no reason after the age of 50 years that that a bunch of lies, deception and manipulation using media is how one should live their best life. Certainly, life is so short and too valuable to squander it this way.

Just thinking about The Rarities (95,418)
by Bobby A from United States
| |
|
|
I really feel the next 3 weeks leading up to the book and The Rarities release that we are in for a promotional rollout that is going to be like no other. I am looking forward to listening to The Rarities just like I did TEOM and Daydream for first time. MC's voice will be her best on this album. People are going to realize why she is the Songbird Supreme. I am ready for another R&B jam like what has been said about Hypnotized. I am curious to why Can You Hear Me has been described as The Jackson's ABC. I wonder if Mesmerized is a ballad. I am so ready for the remastered versions of Do You Think Of Me, Everything Fades Away and Slipping Away. I am looking forward to hearing Anything Can Happen, Out Here On My Own, Kick Rocks, and Loverboy. This will be MC's first album in awhile not to feature any rappers. I am hoping for a Target or Walmart Exclusive announcement soon. Are you ready to make MC debut at number #1? I am rambling. I know.

Everything Fades Away (95,417)

Did we ever confirm that Will Downing is the male voice on EFA? If he is the male vocalist, it would be a great marketing strategy to say Everything Fades Away featuring Will Downing.

Take this Sun article with a grain of salt. If I had to guess, I'd say Mariah and her Mom are just fine. The whole "cult" thing doesn't have credibility at all and it reads like a list of lies. Let Mariah tell it on on September 29th.

I Still Believe/ Pure Imagination (95,415)

What the heck. The video suddenly re-appeared on YouTube on her channel again. Still shows it was uploaded in 2015, but I swear it wasn't there for years now at least not in the US. I'm assuming it's back because of MC30. Alright time to watch, haven't seen it in years. Is that a literal lamb in the beginning?

But we just see them last 2017 I guess. What I understood in the article if the article I've read is the same from that New York magazine was that they were just not in best terms when her "mental breakdown" happened. I hope that's the case.
