It's trying to be overly cool and just comes across as cheese. Don't get me started on T-Pain and the auto tune. I do think however if Mariah had released it, it would have had a strong chance at hitting number 1. So pleased the album is getting some much deserved attention and love. E=MC2 iTunes UK (93,848) by Will from England If you look at the top albums on the main chart iTunes UK, you can clearly see that it's mostly made up of compilation albums and older albums. Mariah isn't the oldest album on there by far since Nirvana, Jagged Little Pill and the Beach Boys are also very much present near the top of the chart. So for a ressuragnace now doesn't look too unusual. If it had happened outside of this whole lockdown and artists were still releasing new material, then yes it would look odd. But hey, let's celebrate this moment and see what happens next. Showbiz is just looking for a story because there is literally nothing else for them to talk about. (Wednesday 29 April 2020; 12:49)

Migrate (93,837) by CMC from NY,NY Justice for Migrate. Now is the time. It's such a bizarre crazy time in the world right now, Mariah going number 1 with a (non Christmas) 12 year old song could totally happen. With no new music happening and E=MC2 already at #1 for over 48 hours now, she should do an official Migrate release. I'm sure there's conflicting record label issues but one can fantasize. Millions of people right now have a lot of time on their hands and are bored spending time on iTunes. Those Mariah fans and casual fans probably noticed the album was discounted, listened to a few songs and decided to buy the album. Nobody is releasing new albums now. Therefore, I highly doubt that this is a scam, and that some lamb got into the system and made E=MC2 number 1. Remember, she is the best selling female solo artist of all time.
