But leave it to the magic of YouTube, I just found some audio clips. I do remember her performing Now That I Know which should have been a single. On the remix, Da Brat has a little dig at J.Lo with her "hate on me" verse, which is rapped to the tune of Firecracker. I think that Melody was the original one for the chorus. Loverboy stolen sample (90,833) by ksquarred from paris Hey has anyone heard this? It's a fan made attempt at recreating Loverboy as it was supposed to sound with the original sample which was taken for Jlo's I'm Real. It's a bit shaky but gives an overall idea. I never really liked Loverboy (even though it's the first Mariah song I heard), but damn, with this sample the song would have been amazing. (Tuesday 17 September 2019; 11:43)

This may sound blasphemous but I'm not the biggest fan of her performances from the debut era. It's awesome to me how much she grew as a performer in just a couple years between this and MTV Unplugged. So much more control and for me it's more enjoyable. It can be so unnecessarily touchy on here at times. I wasn't really reading too much into the comment when I wrote it, I was just in the moment. As for writing Mariah in her prime, I feel she was at her best then. I highlighted the prime point as Mariah has had so many tones/ranges to her voice over the years. Her in her prime is my favourite time. I didn't really think about it deeply regarding other artists and I can't be bothered to elaborate further on that. I'm not going to justify who can sing better nor where the Brits fit in to all of this. I don't care. (Monday 16 September 2019; 10:10)
