Re: Billboard Hot 100 (100,134) (100,136) by Lady B from USA
T is wrong. There is no "letter" needed, it's just streams plus radio being more for the remix than the original in a given week. We lambs can help on that. Let's do it!

I don't think that will happen. No credit.

Latto's team should get Mariah credited too if they want to get lambs fully on-board, as well as get more press. As it is, it won't go higher. For all we know the remix is at 45% points of Latto's version, and just needs a little bit of push. The 50/50 rule should have exceptions in this case, because Latto's version stalled at no.13 weeks ago, and that already samples Fantasy, and then on top of that, it was the remix that pushed it to top 3.

Re: Billboard Hot 100 (100,132) (100,133) by Bobby A from United States
First, something was really fishy that the remix was released on a Monday. Second, Billboard requiring a letter doesn't make any since Savage by Megan Thee Stallion ft. Beyonce was automatically credited on the chart upon debut as "solo or remix". I don't think she will ever get the credit now. Somebody doesn't want her back at number #1.

We need to help on the streams. We did it with #justiceforglitter, can we do it now? What should the hashtag be? When should we push?

Re: Billboard Hot 100 (100,129) (100,131) by T from USA
Predictions are that it will remain at #3 but it's only the original that's at #3. Even though we all know it's the remix with Mariah that got it so high in the first place.

Mariah won't be credited again. The remix is still not surpassing the original in 2 fields (streaming and radio) only sales.

Billboard Hot 100 (100,129) by Joachim Agerup Løkkevik from Norway
Does anybody know where "Big Energy Remix" will chart on this week's Billboard Hot 100? Has the remix been streamed more than 50% of the time? Very anxious.

Re: Stella would've gotten her credited (100,120) (100,128) by Bobby A from United States
Maybe British born RCA Records CEO Peter Edge is a huge a The Beatles fan and this is his way of making sure MC does not dethrone The Beatles.

I really enjoyed watching that last night. A great mix of performances and interviews. She truly is a mega star.

I read in another forum that the Billboard rule is the remix has to be the dominant version by at least 50%. So stream away and request it on radio. Lol.

I'd rather be grateful that Mariah came out of the trashy era and managed to redeem her image than have her be with Stella to get her name get credited for BER. Stella had absolutely trashed Mariah's image down to being a C list reality star. I thought there was no way Mariah would be able to come out of that. The way her image has been restored in the past few years is a miracle. Don't get me wrong, it's not like I'm saying Mariah being a grown woman shouldn't be held responsible but people you surround yourself with do influence you. Stella had basically taken a legend and buried her status. I'm glad Mariah is out of that era. As much as I would love Mariah to get credited and the positive news that would generate I don't want that at the expense of her being trashed down again.

Why do they need a letter from RCA? Tommy would have had the letter at the RCA offices before Big Energy was released.

Ah, I was wondering why Greatest Hits album was in the UK top 20 on iTunes. Just back from ATL this morning so will watch that tonight.

I think Mariah does care. She mentioned the 20th tons of times with that live Stationhead one on one with Latto. I think now she doesn't mention it as much in case it doesn't pan out.

I don't think the charts seem to phase Mariah anymore, as she is still tweeting about the song not even being credited lol.

Re: Stella would've gotten her credited (100,118) (100,119) by T from USA
Stella was a pit bull. Say what we want, it was clear she stuck up for Mariah and made sure Mariah got her coins. The bad part of Stella was she was also very self serving. Mariah's version of the song is what made it #1 on the sales charts and added to huge playlists yet she was not credited even when it reached #3 on the Hot 100. Billboard stated they would need a letter of request from the RCA label and yet so far that has not happened. Stella would've bullied her name on it.

Please don't mention her name in this happy moment in Mariah's life. Why won't she get credited?

Mariah Carey at the BBC (100,116) by Lee from UK
Mariah at the BBC was a little treat on BBC 2 tonight. This opened with a live version of Vision of Love that I hadn't seen before which was lovely. Lots of older performances cleaned up and looking crisp. It also contained some of Mariah's worst lipped performances but it is what it is.

Seems like Mariah will never get a credit on the Big Energy song. I would wish RCA would fight harder for her. She deserves it.

Re: #3 (100,111) (100,114) by Stacey from USA
It's always bothered me Mariah didn't get that 20th #1 because Can't Let Go wasn't allowed to achieve such a great. It totally would have had Tomato not interferred, and we would potentially be talking about 21 #1 singles. I hope MC gets that 20th #1. That on top of being named Billboard's top chart artist would be icing on top of an already yummy cake.

Re: #3 (100,111) (100,112) by Joachim Agerup Løkkevik from Norway
Yes, I dream of that too, it would be so fun, and it would make headlines all over the world, that she has broken The Beatles' record. I remember when she got that 18 #1, even my dad and brother seemed surprised and finally realized that Mariah is a legendary artist. Anyway, even though "Big Energy" might only stay in the top 10, it's her biggest success since #Beautiful, and that is a while ago, even though it seems like yesterday.

Played the song for my mom earlier today, and even though I might have traumatized her with my constant loud playing of Mariah's music, even she liked the remix and said "Who can forget that Mariah song?" when talking about Fantasy. My mother has always followed Mariah in the news and stuff, so she's always up to par about what is going on in Mariah's life, because she feels like Mariah is almost a friend of mine.
