Big streaming (100,060) by Matty from Vancouver Canada Yay to the B.E. remix being number one in Canada and the USA! Odd about the streaming lack; my friend is only using Amazon Music for streaming, and he says it isn't not available on there, and to listen to it he had to YouTube it. "Fantasy" is such a stand-out song, one of the best Pop-RnB songs ever. The sample from "Genius of love" was genius by Mariah. What she did with "Fantasy", it's just perfect from beginning to end. The same with the ODB remix. So no matter which new rapper or singer will choose to use Mariah's song, it will always sound good because the original is one of the best. It is at #2 on the worldwide iTunes chart, but as people are pointing out here, the streaming numbers are atrocious. I will for sure enjoy the remix all summer, but I wish the general public also would enjoy this bop. I agree it sounds more of a Latto remix of a Mariah song, but I think that's because we are well aware of Mariah's back catalogue, and we recognize the Tom Tom Club sample instantly, most people don't do that, and don't know Mariah "owns" this sample. Anyway, anxious to see if the remix will chart on the Billboard Hot 100. (Wednesday 30 March 2022; 10:51)

Big big fantasy (100,054) by Nicky from Jasmine's Sofa I am so surprised. I thought this had the potential to be a tacky. It's actually a whole bop. It sounds fresh and refreshed, it's absolutely spectacular for summer, and it feels like a festive 90s summer cookout. Congrats to Mimi and Latto. There is going to be a big push for this, especially after the video drops. I think it could even go all the way to the top. Is it just me or does this sound like a Fantasy remix featuring Latto? Only Mariah could do this, and I'm so here for it. Cheers lambs. I'm glad there isn't a new verse (though I would loved to have the "I'm in heaven..." part also included). In Dallas, they've already been mixing these two songs together at the clubs for at least the past few weeks. Seems they're taking the Doja and Meggan Thee Stallion approach by remixing with big names in hopes of scoring a #1. It worked for both of them (both their remixes hit #1). I'm gunna do a remix (100,043) by T from USA Instead of that long whistle at the beginning she should've sung the famous line "I'm gunna do a remix" in a tribute to ODB. Then DJ Khalid could've jumped in with his shouting hype. That's the only thing I would've changed. Save the whistle high not for the end. I understand keeping the iconic verse but maybe the second part could've been updated to reflect the current times. Also, I feel the song doesn't have a climax, I have listened to it 50 times, at least, now, but I start it from the beginning again after Latto has rapped after Mariah's verse. Understand me correctly, I absolutely love the remix, I feel this spring will be the best in years, but after the Mariah part, the song fades away, if you know what I mean, I whish it had some type of climax. Article: Mariah Carey turns 53 (100,040) by Lainsky from Philippines If you are going to look at the news in past, clearly she was born in 1970. However, it seems that the recent articles (and Mariah herself), including this one, finally acknowledge that she was born in 1966. That makes her 53 years old. It would have been better if Mimi rapped on the song and sang a whole new verse instead of the same lyrics from 1995. I do like that "sweeeeet fantasy" a lot. I wish it was a little longer, but I get that they need to keep it cute and short for radio. I do think this song has a lot of potential and it's in the right direction of what I'm craving musically from Mimi. It's a grower for sure, I don't want y'all to think that I'm complaining lol. This morning, my husband said to me "I want you to hear something" and started playing it from our library. He was so sweet to download it and have it ready for me when I woke up this morning. He liked how excited I got over the remix announcement. Now, let's stream the hell out of it and get it to number 1!
