Hopes for Glitter EPs (96,163) by Bill from the UK Hi all. I am hoping Mariah treats us to some Glitter Remix Eps for MC30 - I'm unsure exactly if Mariah buying the rights for Glitter extended out to the remixes. Here's hoping it did, as there was a large serving for Loverboy, some of which (the club mixes) were particularly well done. Loverboy 1. Candy Version 2. Candy Version Instrumental* 3. The Medley is beautiful, and the remixes were great, especially the Rich Inspiration versions. They are hard to find as well so it would great to see them for streaming and purchase finally. Don't Stop 1. Radio Edit 2. Instrumental Reflections 1. Radio Edit 2. Instrumental Last Night a DJ Saved My Life 1. Radio Edit 3:26 [P] 2. Radio Edit 4:16 Unlikely these will come on an EP package. The Radio Edit for Don't Stop simply removes some of Mystikal's profanities, whereas the Radio Edit for Reflections tidies up the overlap between All My Life, Reflections and Last Night a DJ Saved My Life from the album (the tracks segue together). The Radio Edits for Last Night I'm sceptical about. The first edit was a rare promo-only mix unique to one territory, and the second slightly longer edit appeared on that strange Reflections CD from the Far East which still may or may not be a bootleg. Instrumentals have been hit and miss as to whether they are released, so - unless a joint EP is made for these tracks, doubt we will see any of them unfortunately. (Tuesday 13 October 2020; 16:45)

Carole King (96,162) by Andrew from the United Kingdom Interesting. Carole King remarks how Aretha was singing over Celine and opines that Celine held her own and responded well with dignity. I have a low quality cassette version recorded from the internet before I had my Encore Technology CD Recorder system. Nobody else but Mariah can sing half her catalog. The more difficult the songs and more frequently sung, the more wear and tear. Nobody has ever called a Dion song "vocal suicide". Singers that frequently use whistle register, historically speaking, only last about 10 years before needing to retire. Singing with the extremes of the voice is going to cause more complications. How is Dion staying home with her family a comparison to single Mariah having a life? She spent most of the decade not having one for the sake of working. At what point does she get to stop sacrificing? Mariah wasn't supposed to sing on Divas Live that night. Her doctor had forbidden it. Her chords were swollen. Mariah did it anyway. She didn't want to pass up the chance to sing with her idol. Her views of Celine had nothing to do with the quality of her voice that night. Mariah didn't sing until Aretha cued her to do so which is true of all her performances with older legends. You guys keep trying to spin your own "petty" narrative of Mariah instead of realizing just how much this truly bothered her. Mariah found Celine disrespectful to someone Mariah adores, so she's going to be bothered by it. The irony being you all love Dion and think Mariah's being mean to her, so you're shading Mariah. Tea? Kettle? How long has this board wanted Mariah to get into the nitty gritty without the fluff? If you want the truth without the sugar coating than why get upset when it's given to you straight? All I Want For Christmas Is You (96,153) by Bobby A from United States MC has known since 2017 that AIWFCIY is a money maker for her. So, that's why I feel that she is about release another huge rendition or remix of her iconic money maker. Whether it is going to be a new rendition or remix we will be talking about it the next morning on here. Maybe it is a Ariana Grande and Jennifer Hudson rendition coming soon before Halloween. The duets (96,152) by Nicky from Jasmine's Sofa The Remixes The Ballads The Essential The Rarities ... The Duets? I would love for MC to release a collection of new duets. I'm really interested in the musical side of it, not the sales or to appeal to the kids. I'm thinking featuring great vocalists that she can make beautiful songs with. Here's my 10 track dream: Mariah & Babyface Mariah & En Vogue Mariah & Chante Moore Mariah & Toni Braxton Mariah & Tevin Campbell Mariah & Kem Mariah & Daley Mariah & Jojo Mariah & Brandy Mariah & Maxwell I chose vocalists that have a sound that is complimentary to hers in my opinion. Looking at this lineup, I'm guessing it would be mostly slow to mid tempo songs and I'm so cool with that. I would love to see some you all's ideas of a duets album with Mimi, I chose 10 songs but an EP works too. (Tuesday 13 October 2020; 08:21)

Tell me, how many times on stage have you seen Mariah sing with another artist? Aretha, Patti, Luther? Have you not noticed, each and every time, Mariah does not sing until she's given a cue to do so? She never cuts in unannounced. That is rude, especially when its not your song. Celine was repeatedly obnoxious that night. How did you conveniently miss the fact they were going down the line taking turns singing and she jumped in front of Carole King (you know, the one who wrote the song) and sang her verse for her? She did that earlier that night as well. Celine didn't just answer Aretha, she had a vocal battle with her. Even when Aretha goes out solo Celine tried to end Aretha's song with her own belt. If that weren't enough, Aretha does an impromptu of "Testimony" which wasn't planned. She cued Mariah to sing than asked the 3 Shania, Carole, and Gloria if they'd like a chance to sing. They weren't given much time to respond since Celine jumped in again. Which is why SNL began doing a Celine Dion skit where Celine sings over anyone singing or talking before announcing "I'm the best singer in the world". That skit lasted for 3 years, Andrew. Maybe it's time you realize you're a white man from the UK and don't understand squat about black culture or how race is treated outside your country. Then, maybe, you won't feel like Mariah has an "agenda" for how she feels about what she had to suffer through and you don't experience. (Tuesday 13 October 2020; 08:15)

Commercially and mass appeal, I believe Cool On You and then Mesmerized should be released and promoted with music videos and other stuff like discounted single price if necessary. (Lol. Her label used to do this with her singles anyway, so I don't see why they cannot do it again.) She can still sing these songs with her current voice plus, singles in this album sound timeless. Can You Hear can be a follow up after Mesmerized. Honestly, these four songs are my top favorites with Here We Go Around Again, I Pray, and One Night as runners up. (Tuesday 13 October 2020; 04:48)
