Re: JD (99,882) (99,888) by Bill from the UK I'm unsure how involved MC was with JD's remix of Never Forget You. She's always stated the first time they worked together was for ABMB. I think JD was perhaps just drafted in to remix NFY and that was it. The vocals were not re-sung or anything, so I doubt they even met in the studio at that time. There's no denying ABMB was a magic combination. Even more so than We Belong Together in my view. It is truly one of her best ever songs. (Wednesday 9 March 2022; 20:41)

JD (99,882) by Bobby A from United States I just finished listening to ABMB. Do we even know the backstory of how MC started working with JD? MC has a pattern of working with a producer on her next album if the producer does a remix on a previous single. The Never Forget You remix gave us Always Be My Baby. Their collaboration has been like no other relationship besides Walter A. MC and JD have had long illustrious collaborative relationship. I am ready to see what these two come up with next. These plans were started in 2017 (99,868) by T from USA I remember this article where Mariah was slowly braking from Stella and she renegotiated her contract with LA Reid and Sony setting up a label called Butterfly MC Records and the first order of business was an intimate Butterfly tour where she celebrates its 20th anniversary by performing the whole album. It was a way to reintroduce Butterfly to the general public and new audience. Of course, shortly after LA Reid was out of Sony and plans changed where she recorded Caution the very next year instead. I guess she never forgot about the idea and is doing something special for the 25th. (Monday 7 March 2022; 21:19)
