However, I think Caution should have been the lead single. A No No without a guest artist wasn't strong enough in my option and the 2 remixes we got didn't really add anything to the song's impact. Had Cardi, Kim, or Missy got on and actually turned it into a radio moment I could see it as a great lead single followed by Mariah all alone on Caution with a sleek video with crashing waves, moonlight, total island vibe. The Distance always gives me high school homecoming vibes. Maybe it's the spirit chant, but it would have been smart to release it around the turn of the season then and market it in that context. Tours and shows (98,110) by Nicky from Jasmine's Sofa I can't believe it's already been 2 years since I saw Mariah at the Caution World Tour. I loved the show, it gave me so much life. It just so happens that I got to see her on my bday and I won the ticket randomly to boot. The only other tour I've seen her on was Rainbow and I honestly didn't really love that show. Idk something about it missed the mark for me. At Caution she performed the songs I wanted to hear from the new album and the Glitter medley was so fun. She squeezed in some cuts I wasn't expecting and of course she threw in some hits. The vibe all night was just "feel good", who knew what we'd be hit with just a year later. If I could see any other tours or residencies I would hands down choose Charmbracelet and Angel's Advocate Tours. But if I could, I would totally relive my night at the Caution World Tour. The vibe was freeing, celebratory, and the whole room was beaming in joy and nostalgia. After the show the shuttle busses were filled with people of all ages singing her songs, we all left so much lighter than we were upon arrival. I'm so grateful to have been there that night. But I understand that's a sentiment among many lambs, and probably Mariah too which is why she's positing herself with the right management. Instead of 4 promo singles and 1 lead (when there's only 10 songs on the album), t should've been: 1. A No No (lead single) 2. Caution (promo single) 3. One Mo Gen (second single) 4. I've never thought of you as a lamb who by default goes on a blaming rampage against anybody who has parted ways with Mariah amicably or not. It just seems that some people here have lost any sense of objectivity with anything Mariah related. I see perfectly ok praising Mariah and putting her on the pedestal, that's what most fans do, but not at somebody else's detriment. Let's say, if Mariah and Beyonce were to have an argument, without knowing, I wouldn't be saying Mariah is right just because I'm her fan. I'll say she's right because facts say so. I love how she responded to it by sliding in the "our #1 song", remind them who the queen is. Mariah is honestly a force to be reckoned with and the fact that she still regularly grabs headlines shows people are still invested in her. The only reason I feel like her music isn't doing well is because of wrong single choice, lack of aggressive promotion plans and most importantly videos with no replay value. I still think she continues to make quality music. I would love to see some experimentations and collaborations but I truly believe she can make a decent dent in the charts if she tackles the things I mentioned above. (Tuesday 8 June 2021; 01:48)

Sun article (98,103) by Gee from U.S.A. (New York City) I tell you anytime Mariah's name is brought up most people are so quick to believe the BS. Lambs are also included because so many of them swear that they know Mariah personally. I knew that the article was smoke, and mirrors based on the sauce. This is the same source that has paid her ex-siblings for stories. Also MC, and Hov have always respected each other so I knew that this was a fabricated story from the jump, but I appreciated Mariah's response to the nonsense. (Monday 7 June 2021; 20:32)

My posts are not intended to be taken seriously or as fact. The speculation is part of the fun for me, the music industry is all smoke and mirrors. So even when "credible sources" are involved, there is still a level of speculation in my opinion. No one but the major players involved really know what's actually happening behind the scenes. It's called show business for a reason. Many theories are thrown around here and I think that's part of the fun honestly. The Sun makes obnoxious claims on the regular and I can find something "believable" even if it never happened. I would totally believe that she and Tanaka are not actually in a relationship just as much as I would believe that they are. And of course I believe that she could have a disagreement with Jay and a single person in the building could perceive it as a blowup. I only made this post to say that I'm here for lighthearted fun, not to be taken seriously. Like my Caution remix album will never happen, but it was fun to create (I actually just started trying to make the remixes on Garageband, fingers crossed). Also, if in fact that post was referencing mine, I never dissed Roc Nation or Jay, nor did I paint Mimi as a victim. On another note, I'm so here for a Neo Soul album from our girl. Yet by your own previously posted logic, Walter, who co-wrote, produced/both 45 songs, including 7 No.1's with Mariah is owed nothing, not even acknowledgement? Not only should Mariah not get a free pass that's not extended to others for general human behaviour, but, despite the glory days and living legend status, Mariah is owed nothing, and should expect equal treatment with those of similar popularity and investment return. If the musical entity (label/management company/etc) can't deliver that, then there will be no entity at all, as they'd bankrupt themselves promoting projects that don't cover expenditure beyond their financial worth. No entity to support artists due to financial strain then means no artists. Those considered not financially viable then struggle to get the better deals with other labels/their existing when up for renegotiation. It's not just common sense, but exactly what lead Mariah to where we are today, on more than one occasion. (New York City) Obviously Mariah worked with Melissa mostly during tenure at RocNation, who she has a great relationship with when Melissa served as an assistant, for her manager at the time Benny Medina. I believe that when Melissa decided that she was taking her talents over to Rage, I believe that Mariah decided she would follow based on the work that they have done together, and results that she was obviously pleased with. I doubt the story that The Sun published is that credible. I also believe that MC and Hov still respect each other greatly, and they have no bad blood between them. Must I remind some of you that when Mariah was "hot tamale" back in the 90's, many acts were dropped from the Sony roster to make budget for Mariah? Well, she isn't "hot tamale" anymore, and it's ok. She's had an exceptional career, but all careers come to and end or fade away as time goes by. As Mimi L. stated, it's business. A business that is not bringing as much revenue as it used. It's laughable to see people putting down Rock Nation or JZ just because they could've dropped Mariah, like by default Mariah is a victim. Mariah has made great decisions in her music career, but some other times she's f**d up and it has been her fault. If she comes back with the same old tired R&B in which she doesn't raise her voice in a few songs, it's a wrap. R&B can be fun and great, Bruno Mars has proven that. (Sunday 6 June 2021; 17:59)

Maybe she knows she has some hot songs for MC16 and she wants a manager who is going to work their hardest for her like Benny Medina did. She knows that if MC16 is not successful that she might as well retire. I don't blame her for leaving RocNation. I would love to see her sign with Coldplay's manager, Dave Holmes.
