By the way, I've been coming here for almost 20 years, without posting much, I come here for news on MC. I even contributed to the book that never happened. But I noticed that initially I was credited, then one day Eric took credit for my contribution. He must have found his own copy of the VH1 Super Audio CD because he replaced my name with his but it's okay because I'm probably not the only one this happened to. I also noticed that my messages are not being posted when defending my comments, yet there are ignorant and insensitive comments that continue. I guess if I had my own website I could choose only the messages I agree with instead of being impartial. I have been coming here for many years, many times a day, but there's many other places I can get news on MC which I think will be best for me. Wishing all of you well, deuces. With her Daydream era voice, she could have sung absolutely any lyrics with any words, even if it didn't make sense, and I still would have been like, "That's beautiful." But he actually confirms what she said, that Motorola [sic] put a knife to her face at a dinner party. Corey and Walter are jerks IMO. It is a very "busy" song but I love that about it. It feels as if lots of people are walking around on a boulevard near the beach in shorts, smartly dressed, as the sun goes down, the atmosphere electric with possibilities. And Mariah is walking around them with her girlfriends humourously pointing out potential consequences. The video would have epic. The song is so much fun. One would have thought it would cheer some Americans up. Also agree with John. HWGRA and All I Live For and Firecracker Loverboy are genius. Mariah made a few mistakes with choices during her career. Hiding these tracks surely ranks amongst the worst. As does not making YDKWTD the lead single from MIAM. Which is also a genius upbeat ball of fun. Cheer up everyone. It's Christmas soon. The first, the reason why they don't work together anymore, and the second, he was one of the two people who witnessed the butter knife incident with Tommy. He went in on Mariah calling her a liar who has been lying about Tommy, JLo who he says has never done anything to her, and himself. I'm confused why he added himself into the mix because I can't recall her ever mentioning him at all. He paints a different picture saying Mariah was belittling Tommy at dinner and that instead of exploding he picked up his butter knife and "tapped it" on her cheek saying enough. Not sure how that shows restraint or how his response was ok even if it's true she was belittling him. My question is, if she was, what was the reason? I can't picture her walking in and belittling him in front of mixed company for no reason. He claims he is now going to let the real truth out only to delete the tweet later. Still can't get over Loverboy (Firecracker) (96,639) by John from USA I have been listening to this song (along with "Here We Go Around Again" and "All I Live For") nonstop since The Rarities came out. There is zero doubt in my mind that this is the true version of Loverboy we were meant to get and would have gone straight to #1. It is truly in the league of her incredible 90s lead singles that we were used to at the time. I still love the Candy version, but the Firecracker version goes so much harder, and that chorus though? The chorus pops so much more on this version, and I love the "hey loverboy" that she says in the background throughout the song. And I also love that the song features no one and is just her. Pure pop perfection, and one of her best uptempo songs ever. (Sunday 15 November 2020; 15:17)
