Re: Exact lyrics (96,591) (96,601) by Rene from US
I only know the one for "Do you think of me". Mariah sings "I need you so bad when I'm lying all alone baby" and she proceeds with "so bad baby".

Re: Trump (96,597) (96,600) by Andrew from the United Kingdom
Topics get out of hand when idiots get involved. On this day, Armistice Day, to read that some silly little uneducated fool likened a President of the United States to Adolf Hitler is vulgar - it belittles what all those brave youngs lads died for in those insanely violent and tragic World Wars, bravely paying the ultimate sacrifice in their millions to wrestle the world from the grip of evil. I suppose one of the freedoms for which they paid the ultimate sacrifice was that silly little twats would be free spout as much nonsense as they want comparing life as an overly privileged American crying into their cornflakes about how victimised they are to the lives of people who were slaughtered and exterminated en masse.

They gave their tomorrow for our today. I wonder what would they have thought had they known they gave their tomorrow for pathetic idiots to make light of what they went through to give it.

Re: Most debuts at #1 (96,586) (96,599) by this_is_qhm from the Philippines
Streaming allowed her to. Ariana was around since 2013 but she only got her first #1 in 2018 when streaming really solidified its importance in charting. The impact of streaming really started to become apparent in 2017. This hugely affected Mariah's AIWFCIY chart trajectory from #9 to #3 and finally #1 last year.

Pretty much any new artist these days can debut at #1 if their fanbase is huge and active enough. Staying on top is a different discussion. Ariana's first two debut charttoppers held the top spot for several weeks, but her 3 #1 debuts this year fell from the top position by their second week on the charts. But a #1 is still a #1.

Topics like this can get out of hand pretty quickly. Best to move on. It's snowing here today so I'm busy playing Christmas music, of course. Cheers.

Before the new era (96,593) by We are lambily from USA
Question is what would you like to see Mariah do?

Documentary: It needs to be with Netflix, remind the people of who Mariah Carey is, star studded appearances also I would love for her to address NYE (with focus mostly on her amazing return and her resilience), her disorder (just briefly, many people can connect with this) etc.

A unplugged moment: Imagine acoustic versions of her hits and some fan favourite songs. She can use the same tactic like the one with Idol, she performs the songs 3x and chooses the moments she like the most (but her team got to do a better job of putting them together).

Dance remixes of her hits: I actually haven't heard Whitney Houston before and I love that Kygo remix, Mariah should let some current producers reintroduce her songs to the younger generations.

Features: She should make appearances on other peoples albums, I still don't get how Dj Khaled hasn't invited her to one of his albums.

More tv appearances: Fun segments, 79 questions, I would die for Mariah to be on, she can invite Mary, Trey, Bryan and Kristofer, also why not join The Rookie or some other cop show and play a victim.

I literally grew up with Idol and love how many real superstars they have created, but it was the wrong format for Mariah. Mariah would do so good on The Voice. One thing many people have said is that Mariah's music knowledge is unparalleled. Just to see her coach other people and create her own team. I know Simon Cowell has a new show coming out, I hope he talks Mariah into it, they would have a great chemistry.

Re: Mariah on Jeopardy game show (US TV) tonight (96,588) (96,592) by We are lambily from USA
It was amazing, she sang a little bit and it sounded so good. The questions were to easy yet the girl said "A dream of love" instead of "Vision of love" lol. We need more of this content.

Exact lyrics (96,591) by Xavier mariohmix from Spain
Save The Day: What does she exactly say "in her part" (0:23)? Anybody, please. Lol.

One Night: What is the recurring phrase the background sings all the way through the song starting at 1:01? I can't figure it out.

Do You Think Of Me: What does she exactly say at 3:53 and 4:00?

Question for the webmaster: are topics that literally have nothing to do with Mariah allowed here? Nothing in this entire thread has even mentioned her? [Webmaster: Topics that have nothing to do with Mariah are allowed, but please keep it civil. The debat on Trump however is closed.]

Oh please, Obama is behind the economic growth in the country and Trump came in on a high. The Obama administration was also behind most of the withdrawal of the troops, but there is still over 5000 soldiers there. Those fake peace deals that favours one side can be kept in the dark.

"The media has been unfair." Lol you must be joking, the guy has lied over 20.000 times while in office. He has repeatedly tried to undermine them and the free press.

[Webmaster: The rest of the message is censored, because he compared Trump to Hitler. There will be no more messages posted about Trump if they are not related to Mariah.]

I 100% agree with you. President Trump had never gotten a fair shot with the MSM, and all of his victories are never applauded. I will not respond further - as I know where this leads.

Re: Trump (96,570) (96,579) by Geronimo from USA
You are incredibly wrong. He was one of the worst presidents since Andrew Johnson. He prevented the States from responding to the coronavirus when there was time to save tens of thousands of lives. Then he ratcheted up the country's racist, xenophobic, anti-intellectual, and paranoid tendencies just to play to his socially regressive base. He not so covertly encouraged white supremacist militias to stay ready for "action" when he lost, and worst of all, he scared the faux progressive liberals so badly that Joe Biden's "unity" and "healing" nonsense sounds politics to actual adults now. Trump is a barbarian in an orange monkey suit.

Re: Is AIWFCIY the most successful song in history? (96,577) (96,578) by Will from Australia
Not sure about them others all having greater success than Mariah internationally. Here in Australia as a sampler, certified units:

P.nk 10.1m
Rihanna 9.5m
Katy Perry 6.8m
Taylor Swift 6.74m
Mariah 5.02m
Madonna 4.78m
Lady Gaga 4.09m
Adele 4.09m
Beyoncé 3.39m
Celine 3.30m
Christina 2.62m
Babs 2.15m
Whitney 1.89m
Cher 1.53m
Janet 1.15m

She’s actually sold more than all that you mentioned. But I agree with your sentiments about AIWFCIY.

Is AIWFCIY the most successful song in history? (96,577) by Joachim Agerup Løkkevik from Norway
I just had this crazy thought. I had to listen to AIWFCIY for the first time this season, and it came down to me, Mariah might have created the masterpiece of our century or millennium.

I have often felt sad that women like Celine, Whitney, Madonna, Aretha, Janet and even Ariana have hade grater success than Mariah on an international term. All have hade greater hits or greater sales. They all have discographies that are greater than Mariah.

But listen, in all charts comparing the greatest female artists, Mariah is always there, always making an impact, you can't talk about great female artists leaving out Mariah.

But here it comes, with AIWFCIY, Mariah has created a song that is for the decades to come, so great in music history, it doesn't even bury all other legacy's, but it almost bury Mariah's legacy, becoming the greatest song ever produced.
